ସଦଭାବନା ବୈଠକ ଗୃହ, ଗଜପତି ଠାରେ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପ୍ରଶାସନ ଏବଂ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଶ୍ରମ ବିଭାଗର ମିଳିତ ଆନୁକୂଲ୍ୟରେ ଗଜପତି ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ଶ୍ରମିକମାନଙ୍କ କଲ୍ୟାଣ, ଶ୍ରମ ଆଇନର ଅନୁପାଳନ ଏବଂ ଶିଶୁ ଶ୍ରମିକ ପ୍ରଥାର ଉଚ୍ଛେଦ ନିମନ୍ତେ ବ୍ୟାପକ ଜନସଚେତନତା ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଏକ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବୈଠକ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇଯାଇଅଛି । ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ, ଅତିରିକ୍ତ ଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳ, ଗଜପତି , ସଚିବ, ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଆଇନ ସେବା ପ୍ରାଧିକାରଣ, ଗଜପତି,ଉପ ଆରକ୍ଷୀ ଅଧୀକ୍ଷକ, ଗଜପତି , ପ୍ରଭାଗୀୟ ଶ୍ରମ ଆୟୁକ୍ତ, ଗଜପତି , ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ, ଶିଶୁ କଲ୍ୟାଣ ସମିତି, ଗଜପତି ଏବଂ ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ଅଧିକାରୀ ଗଣ ଯୋଗଦାନ କରିଥିଲେ । NGOs,Trade Union, ପ୍ରେସିଡେଣ୍ଟ ଅଫ ଚାମ୍ବର ଅଫ କମର୍ସ ଆଣ୍ଡ ଟ୍ରେଡର୍ସ୍ ଏବଂ ରାଇସ ମିଲ ଆସୋସିଏସନ୍ ର ପ୍ରତିନିଧି ମାନେ ମଧ୍ଯ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଥିଲେ ।

ଶିଶୁମାନଙ୍କ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଓ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ସହ ଭବିଷ୍ୟତକୁ ସୁନିଶ୍ଚିତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ମାନ୍ୟବର ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ମୋହନ ଚରଣ ମାଝୀଙ୍କ ଆହ୍ୱାନ କ୍ରମେ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଛି ‘ଶିଶୁ ଶ୍ରମ ମୁକ୍ତ ଗ୍ରାମ ପଞ୍ଚାୟତ ସଚେତନତା ଅଭିଯାନ’।
ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ଆସନ୍ତୁ, ଶିଶୁ ଶ୍ରମ ଆଇନ କ'ଣ କୁହେ ଜାଣିବା ଓ ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଚେତନ କରିବା। ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଗ୍ରାମ ପଞ୍ଚାୟତକୁ 'ଶିଶୁ ଶ୍ରମ ମୁକ୍ତ' କରିବା ଦିଗରେ ଏହି ସଚେତନତା ଅଭିଯାନ ସଫଳ କରିବା ଦିଗରେ ସହାୟକ ହେବା।

On dt.07.10.2026, a raid-cum-inspection was conducted in all the roadside eateries/dhabas in and around Goshala, Burla area by the District Labour Machinery, Sambalpur under the "44 Days State-wide Campaign for Child Labour-Free Gram Panchayat" wherein the establishments were made aware about prohibition of child Labour, while no child or adolescent were found. Leaflets were distributed and abstract regarding child labour was affixed. Along with the Labour Department, the team consisted of ADARSA(NGO) and Police administration led by Smt.Tarabati Pradhan, DSP, Sambalpur.

On 07.07.2026, a Block-Level Awareness Camp on “Child Labour-Free Basudevpur” was organised at the Basudevpur Block Headquarters under the "44-Days Child Labour-Free GP Campaign", by the District Labour Machinery, Bhadrak with the participation of the Hon’ble MLA, Basudevpur, ABDO and other dignitaries.
The programme focused on creating awareness among the public and stakeholders about the elimination of child labour and ensuring a Child Labour-Free Basudevpur.

A District Level Task Force (DLTF) meeting on Child Labour was held on 07.10.2026 at Conference Hall, Collectorate, Sonepur under the Chairmanship of the Collector & District Magistrate, Sonepur.The meeting was attended by the Superintendent of Police, Subernapur, Chairperson, CWC, DCPO, Childline representatives,DEO, NGO representatives, Divisional Labour Commissioner, Subernapur, all Assistant Labour Officers and other concerned officials & stakeholders.The meeting focused on the role & responsibilities of DLTF team & objectives and effective implementation of the "44-Days Statewide Campaign for Child Labour-Free Gram Panchayats" with emphasis on strengthening awareness, prevention, identification, rescue, rehabilitation and mainstreaming of children engaged in labour.

On 13.10. 2026, the block-level “Seva Setu Sankalp Abhiyan” was organised at the Basudevpur Block. The programme was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Member of Parliament for Bhadrak, in the presence of member, OSCPCR, the Block Chairman, the BDO of Basudevpur, and officers from the District Labour Machinery, Bhadrak.
During the programme, beneficiaries were sensitised to the various welfare schemes and benefits available under the Odisha Building and Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board (OB&OCWWB) and the Odisha Unorganised Workers’ Social Security Board (OUWSSB).
Furthermore, the event raised awareness regarding the 44-Day Statewide IEC Campaign for Child Labour-Free Gram Panchayats. Special emphasis was laid on preventing child labour, identifying vulnerable children, and raising awareness about safe migration and migration-related issues at the Gram Panchayat level.

On 13.10. 2026, the "Block-Level Seva Setu Sankalp Abhiyan" was held in the Jashipur block. The programme was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Minister for Labour and ESI, in the presence of the Block Chairman, BDO, Jashipur and officers from the District Labour Machinery, Mayurbhanj among other dignitaries. During the event, two death benefits were disbursed and 25 building and other construction workers were registered under the Nirman Shramik Kalyan Yojana. The attendees were sensitized about the benefits provided under the OB&OCWW Board and the OUWSS Board. Furthermore, they were sensitized about the ongoing 44-days campaign on child labour free Gram Panchayats in Odisha.

A workshop on "Safer Industries, Stronger Odisha" was organised by Directorate of Factories & Boilers, Odisha on 07.10.2026 at Auditorium, Krushi Bhawan, Bhubaneswar aligned with the idea of “Viksit Odisha for Viksit Bharat”. 200 Delegates from about 119 factories and start-ups attended the workshop.
Chief Secretary, Odisha Smt. Anu Garg, IAS graced the occasion as Chief Guest and impressed upon reduction of accidents and collective measures for ensuring workers’ safety, health and welfare.
Principal Secretary, Labour & ESI Department Shri D.V. Swamy, IAS emphasized the need for proactive, technology-driven and people-centric approach to workplace safety, with emerging solutions such as AI, Automation, IoT & Drone Inspection.
Representatives from M/s Tata Steel Ltd., KNIC, Jajpur, M/s Vedanta Aluminium Metal Ltd., Jharsuguda, M/s NTPC Ltd., Kaniha and M/s IOCL, Paradeep presented their best practices and highlighted how technological intervention can increase industrial safety.

On 06.10.2026, under the "44 Days State-wide IEC Campaign for Child Labour-Free Gram Panchayat", a road show and IEC leaflet distribution programme was conducted at Sribantapur Gram Panchayat, Rasulpur Block of Jajpur District
Around 40 participants, including the Sarpanch ,SHG groups and other Panchayat staff, were sensitized on prevention of child labour and making the Panchayat child-labour-free.
