Our coalition has worked diligently with the government and the community to secure increased grant funding for the MOLGBTQA. Community-based organizations (CBOs) depend on these funds to sustain critical programs and meet their capacity needs. Without timely disbursement, these organizations are placed in a vulnerable position, lacking the resources to advance their work while awaiting government payments. We urge the Mayor and the respective agencies to ensure the swift release of these funds, recognizing the urgency for CBOs to continue providing essential services without unnecessary disruptions.
