Paid taxes for over 40 years contributing to @NHS this week called for appointment for knee pain. Online call resulted in fobbed off with over 6 months wait for a physio appointment so if you can afford £50 for private physio do it or buy a brace from Amazon. @barclaymedical

People dont realise how many layers of tax there are
Income tax
National insurance
Fuel duty
VAT
Council tax
By the time money moves through the system a few times, the state has taken a huge slice of almost every pound you earn
The real debate is not left vs right anymore, it is how much of your own money you are actually allowed to keep.
Agree if necessary for safety reasons but @GlasgowCC disappointed no commitment to replace with similar design and material
