Since I started teaching at the @Fundguadalupepy Orphanage, I’ve become deeply involved with their reality. The staff hadn’t received a salary in over 10 years — the state doesn’t cover it, so the home survives thanks to the people who choose to help. I began covering some of the staff myself, simply because someone had to. When he learned about this, our friend @vikrantnyc generously committed to paying the salaries of two workers for six months. This is what moves me the most: when the system fails, people step up for people. We’re grateful beyond words. In upcoming videos we’ll introduce the staff and share the work they do every day for these kids. @sethforprivacy @DontTraceMeBruh @BTClovera @StarkPrivacy 👀
