It was a bit unexpected to be randomly interviewed by @hayleyjanemoore before Racing today to give my thoughts on The Coral Trophy. Forward Plan was the one I was keen on today and I made a strong case for him. It seemed that I also impressed Hayley in the process too 😅
From a commercial perspective, having both Sir Delius & Kingswood in 🇭🇰 for the international meeting is great news. #HKRacing
I really don’t know what to think of Sir Delius at the moment. Comments post Cox Plate were baffling, suggesting he wasn’t primed to peak for it.
Three-time Group 1 winner Sir Delius is being set for a trip to Hong Kong at the end of the year.

Constitution Hill ran well in my opinion. Finished upsides a battle hardened group horse who has been to Hong Kong, France & Germany. Not disgraced at all.
On the evidence of today, he would be a threat on soft ground.

A huge performance from Raging Blizzard, off top weight, giving Ka Ying Attack a lump of weight & running him down late on.
He’s chased Ka Ying Rising around plenty of times & bumped into others often. But, a well deserved group success. A very admirable horse.

My Cox Plate thoughts (a really good renewal this year). I like Sir Delius. A tad unoriginal, but I feel he will be primed for this after his last two runs.
