Well done Tamsin for beating off stiff competition for Chef of the Day with your lovely Easter Cake 🐣🐥🐤🥞 @LmdcArts @LMDCHS_JLT @LamareHighSchoo
As the leaves begin to fall, Year 11 have been busy with some skills catch up and seasonal cookery with Mrs. Vaudin. Great lattice work for their first try. The big question is... cream, custard or ice-cream with it?? 🍏🥧🍨 @kieravaudin @LamareHighSchoo @LMDCHS_JLT @LMDCHSCA
To celebrate #BlackHistoryMonth why not dip in to our Food Goggle Box over half term. Great research also for Y10 and Y11 for your coursework. Happy viewing! 🌏 👩🍳#culture @LMDCHSCA @LamareHighSchoo

Y8 getting a pizza-the-action after missing their pizza practical in Y7 due to lockdown. Mrs Vaudin assures us the rubbling in skills and creativity were tiptop 🍕🇮🇹 @KieraVaudin @LamareHighSchoo @LMDCHSCA @Foodafactoflife
An Autumnal kind of baking day with Mrs Vaudin and Y11. A good chance to practise pastry lattice skills with these delicious seasonal apple pies 🍏🥧. We even reused the skins to feed Kaiser the goat! @kieravaudin @LMDCHS_JLT @LamareHighSchoo @LMDCHSCA @Foodafactoflife #seasonal

As many restrictions are relaxed today, BNF is in reflective mood. We cast an eye back on hot nutrition topics over last 16 months. Like an increased interest in cooking from scratch for some – who remembers some of our super tips?
