Honoured to attend Norwich’s Holocaust Memorial Day service at @StPeterMancroft Church.
We remembered the six million Jewish men, women and children murdered during the Holocaust.
This year’s theme, Bridging Generations, reminds us that remembrance lives on through all of us
Happy New Year to you and good luck with the new store. 🙏

Handing over to the new Lord Mayor in just under 30 minutes. @TheSheriffHat and I have had a fantastic year, and wish Vivien Thomas all the best for her year in office.
Yesterday evening was the first (and last) time this civic year that I have been able to get out onto the river as Admiral of the Wensum. Thanks very much to the Sea Cadets - @TheSheriffHat and I had a great time piloting Dory!
It was great to pop along to Bluebell Model Allotment Centenary on Saturday lunchtime, chatting with some of the allotment holders and an opportunity to speak about the important of Captain Sandys-Winsch.
Yesterday I took on my regular role as Run Director at @eatonjuniors, but with the added twist of being in full mayoral robes as I presented our first ever junior to take part 250 times with his certificate and wristband.

March saw the Duke of Gloucester visit @stmartinsnfk to open their office, the annual Court of Mayoralty welcoming in new @Norwich_Freemen, the @NorfolkWI AGM with @The_Real_JSP, and meeting with the Romanian Consul General.
The was also the thought provoking performance of The Great Stink at Norwich Theatre, a chance for a visit to watch @NorwichCityWFC at Carrow Road, the @RoundTableNo1 Annual Dinner, and opening of Grounded, a new coffee shop on Unthank Road.
Finally we had the Commonwealth Flag Raising ceremony at City Hall, and an presentation of prizes for a Rotary Club of Norwich St Edmund organised art competition at @NNUH.
February began with a visit to our twin city Novi Sad, where mayor Milan Đurić welcomed us for their Day of Novi Sad. There was also the amazing Kings Lynn Mart, the opening of the new @SoulChurchUK and opportunity to meet with users.
There was also the launch of @NorwichSciFest, a visit to the Open Doors Cafe, the Apprenticeships Norfolk Awards 2024 and welcoming @RoundTableNo1 to City Hall.
Shocking news from @Rouen today. Our thoughts go out to everyone in our twin city, and especially my friend @NicolasMayerNMR as he leads his city through this.

In November, Remembrance Sunday gave a time for reflection about the debt we owe our veterans, a visit to the American Library a reminder of the USA presence in our area. Meeting the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine brought into sharp relief current conflicts. (1/4)
@LivingWageUK Week launch, an opportunity to meet with @AmbDuchene, French Ambassador to the UK, testing my plumbing skills at the newly opened @JTLTraining centre and a visit to @LeewayDV were other visits undertaken. (3/4)
A snowball fight with Santa at the Festive Switch on, visiting the Dementia Café in Sprowston for a Koblenz Friendship Association event, meeting residents at @JohnsHouseCare and chatting with the lads at Norwich Lads Amateur Boxing club were all hugely enjoyable.
