We're all born left wing. Ask any kid if homeless people should be fed and housed, if everyone deserves healthcare, if bombing families is wrong, if racism is bad, if air and water should be clean, if trees and nature are good...
How are any young men left wing I genuinely don’t understand

50 years ago Stevie Wonder released his eighteenth studio album, 'Songs in the Key of Life'. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the first album by an American artist to ever do it, and stayed there 13 straight weeks.

Every studio tomorrow “We’re looking for our Widow’s Bay”. Fully missing no one was looking for a Widow’s Bay. Good writers, write what inspires them. They gamble on something that’s different. Wish more execs understood you have to lay it on the line
‘WIDOW'S BAY’ has won 14 Emmys — the most wins EVER for a single season of a comedy show. • Best Comedy Series • Best Actor (Matthew Rhys) • Best Supporting Actor (Stephen Root) • Best Supporting Actress (Kate O'Flynn) • Best Guest Actress (Betty Gilpin) • Best Writing • Best Directing • Best Casting • Best Cinematography • Best Music Composition • Best Music Supervision • Best Production Design • Best Sound Editing • Best Sound Mixing

Well them going to prison isn’t viewed as a joke so there’s that. A lot of comedies are about people getting out of messed up situations. Them being locked up and all the unfair roadblocks they run into are supposed to make you upset. Make you uncomfortable. Make you think. The movie is full of laughs but also tragedies. One inmate had a baby with the wardens daughter but can’t claim the child or they’ll kill him. He loves the wardens daughter and she loves him, but their family can’t happen. Another inmate purposely gets himself killed because he doesn’t think his family back home will love him when they find out his sexual orientation. Eddie and Martin are examples of not losing spirit against insurmountable odds. I say that to say it doesn’t make light of prison or the era in which it takes place. A reminder of how things used to be and that it was not that long ago. Still happens. Most of the time without a happy ending. It is a deep movie disguised as a comedy. Sometimes that’s the best way to get important messages across “A spoon full of sugar, helps the medicine go down.” Can you dig it?
I always had a hard time liking this. How is losing your whole life to a racist system funny 😭😭

Nobody talks about the personality shift in your 30s where you no longer want to be impressive, you just want to be rested, regulated, and completely unavailable to anything that drains you

The Times and The Sunday Times published about 44 articles about Professor Jason Arday. The Telegraph published 43. The Daily Mail published about 38. The Independent published 24. The Spectator published around 21. The Guardian published about 19. The Daily Express published more than 10. The Sun published 9. It was a disproportionate media pile-on.

"When people talk about the need for Black Excellence I counter with an insistence on Black mediocrity: the right for black people to be as average, flawed, compromised & mistaken as any other group of people. The right, ultimately, to be human." R.I.P. Jason Arday

Anybody who really, really, realllyyyy knows R&B would just stfu & not speak too prematurely bc this right here is a great match up. We all know Joe is commercially bigger, but Donell’s catalog is INSANE as well. I can’t call this one. Yall did the same with dipset vs. the Lox.

12% possession between Gordon’s opener and Martínez’ winner. If only there was a player on the bench who never loses the ball in tight spaces, defends brilliantly in a low block and acts like a pressure valve for his team when their backs are up against a wall.
