Our twitter hasn’t been active for a while, but no better way to return than to wish Eid Mubarak to all those celebrating today amongst our @langdon_park students, staff & families & all our external partners too. Have a wonderful day. Looking forward to Year 13 party tomorrow!
If you live/work in East London & heard the #makeadifference appeal on @BBCRadioLondon #GiveALaptop campaign pls contact @Bus2Sch if you can donate. @langdon_park is a large secondary in Tower Hamlets, huge need here, any surplus will be given to our feeder primaries Thanks! 🙏🏻
We’ve had two from kind individuals yesterday, an offer from a small business last night - thank so you much Richard @BBCRadioLondon for all you are doing. Literally thousands of children in our area of Tower Hamlets without a device, so please keep them coming!

Richard is on it! Several laptops being donated to London schools soon. @BBCRadioLondon #GiveALaptop #makeadifference
This is all set up by the wonderful charity @Bus2Sch and their Give A Laptop campaign. Tablets great for us too! You can find us on the ‘donate’ page at business2schools.com/donate - go to the schools page and you’ll see us under Tower Hamlets @BBCLondonNews
If you live in East London & recently upgraded your laptop, or bought new devices for your own children, please consider donating your old ones to us. We’ll wipe them to make them secure & give them to one of the many children in our school that doesn’t have a device for learning
What a great start to the week! Two laptops donated to @langdon_park following the fantastic appeal run by @Bus2Sch @BBCLondonNews
These will be going to new homes tomorrow, enabling children to keep learning during lockdown So grateful 👏🏻 #GiveALaptop #makeadifference
Some special deliveries tomorrow - Year 12 students took time yesterday to write thank you cards to our fabulous teachers, who have done so much for them in these first two terms @langdon_park #support #dedication 🙌🏼 to all our staff. You are truly appreciated 💙❤️💙

We have @langdon_park Year 13s in the study centre preparing for their PPEs next week, and Year 11 Drama and PE students hard at work onsite too. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 to you all! #BeALearner #BeProfessional @DramaLPS @LPSSport
Team ‘Phoenix’ looking very focused in my office right now - one of two @langdon_park teams learning to play the stock market on the fantastic INVEST FOR SUCCESS programme with @Arrivaleducate @Investec
This afternoon a group of @langdon_park Year 12s are having their first session on @Arrivaleducate programme The Access Network. Look forward to hearing about it tomorrow! #BeProfessional #LPS #ambition #careers #networking #professions #aiminghigh #towerhamlets
Some @metpoliceuk @MPSTowerHam horses passed @langdon_park this afternoon. Thanks to the officers who stopped to chat to some local children and then stayed longer so that our @DramaLPS Y11 students could meet the horses - the girls much braver than the boys! #justsaying
I second that! Great to see our @langdon_park foundation and vocational students enjoying such fantastic opportunities- and showcasing some incredible talents 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

@UCATofficial one of our students was scheduled for 10.45 today - had sent pictures of room, passport etc & was waiting for approval. Info page said if no-one responded he should use the help form to reschedule. He did so - got auto reply back saying response within 5 work days
Totally agree - been great seeing the school brought back to life again.
Such a wonderful first week back teaching all year groups practical Drama. Creative hands, face, space tasks and groups of 6 galore! Our @langdon_park students are so sparky and resilient, we’ve had lots of fun as we started new units ranging from Greek Theatre to Brecht 🎭
What’s the best thing you could do this #SundayMorning ? Have a look round at home and find those laptops and iPads that you no longer use but haven’t thrown away. Having their own device would be transformative for our students

If your business is based in London area and you have laptops you would like to donate, please consider @langdon_park in Tower Hamlets - this would have a massive impact on our children and their families.
