Who in Texas hurt Kim?
HISTORIC: After leading 25-13 at the end of the first quarter, #LSU outscored Texas Southern, 106-9 over the final three quarters and won the game 131-22.
Before Texas Southern hit a 3PT shot to halt the run — LSU went on a 43-0 run, eclipsing Vanderbilt’s previous record of 34-straight points scored in a D1 WBB game.
LSU then went on a 50-0 run before TXSO scored again — breaking Vanderbilt’s (for a second time, tonight) and their very own record IN THE SAME GAME.
The Lady Tigers also surpassed the men’s D1 longest run record TWICE tonight, which was previously held by Cleveland State (40-0).
I knew it

NEW: Brian Kelly confirms interest in Florida State's head coaching job:
"I’ve got a great history with Florida State, great games. I know what that’s like, the history and tradition of Florida State, playing in that state, and the fan base. So anytime you have an incredibly brand driven, great tradition and history, there’s a want and desire to be part of somebody that has had that success and, certainly, leading that program, from anyone’s perspective, would be an honor and privilege."

Rostering and playing a player who signed a contract with the pistons is ruining college basketball. @GregSankey I expect a lawsuit delivered to Ole Miss by next week and a conference vote on their expulsion.
Whodathunkit?
Which SEC rival lives rent-free in each fanbase’s head
The SEC Obsession Matrix: another installment in my NLP analysis of SEC Reddit communities. Game weeks between teams are excluded.
For example, Florida fans mention Ole Miss 17 times per 1,000 comments, Georgia 15, Auburn 14, and Alabama just 7.
I miss unbiased reporting
Column: Will Wade was a lil’ touchy about roster questions. But they persist, with another LSU vs SEC collision looming over an NBA draft pick the Tigers hope to have in a key role this season. bit.ly/4s7uIcf
🚨 SEC Fanbase Toxicity Index 🚨
The index equally weights profanity, insults, hostile language, negativity toward rivals, and abusive comments. 100 = SEC average.
I used natural language processing (NLP) to analyze thousands of reddit comments across all 16 SEC team subreddits this season.
Proud of my Gators for not being the most toxic 🐊
Funny how it’s clear that it should have been blown dead to everyone not fans of Kentucky or Ole Miss.
#obsessed
LSU coach Lane Kiffin says a ref told him Kentucky’s tush push TD wasn’t blown dead (for a lack of forward momentum) because too much was at stake in that moment.
From @byreeddarcey:

1. It is a better job. The media attention Ole Miss gets is secondary to Lane leaving. This will be evident next year.
2. LSU does have more resources. It’s not even remotely close.
3. You can’t decide a coach’s final grade at a program 5 games into his first year taking over a program that went 7-6 the year before.
Knee-jerk af reaction.
Yet another example of poor officiating. Forward progress stopped for 3 seconds but no whistle until he finally gets pushed in.
I’ve never seen it before and we’ll never see it again.

Sam Leavitt turned the ball over, the defense got gashed, and everyone played undisciplined in the first-half…
But Lane Kiffin not trusting his offense on 4th and 1 to ice the game absolutely lost #LSU this game.
Kiffin was out-coached by Will Stein, there’s no way around it.
WOOOOOOOOOOO
Forget About Alabama And Georgia. That’s Just Another Walk In The Park. Let’s Talk About A Real Team- @LSU And The Great @Lane_Kiffin!! Go @LSUfootball! See You November 7th! WOOOOO!
