the most underrated NFL training technique nobody at the HS level is doing:
contrast training.
dead simple:
heavy squats → box jumps
heavy bench → med ball throws
heavy deadlifts → broad jumps
the heavy load wakes up every fast twitch fiber.
the explosive movement teaches them to fire violently.
zero extra time. youre already lifting.
twice a week → your first step gets violent
guaranteed.

A welcome to our new head men's and women's golf coach, James Keck. He's a former all-NACC golfer at Benedictine, and joins us after spending the last two years as asst. SID at Illinois College. Looking forward to James joining our Muskies staff 👏

If 95% of your teammates are showing growth and development, and you’re not… don’t come complain to me.
You won’t like that conversation.
You get what you put into the weight room every single day. You can’t hide from the process. You can’t cheat the weight room.
Eventually, it will expose you!

What would be his biggest tip to young athletes trying to get to the next level?
“A lot of people work hard…
it’s the people that work hard & are able to stack nutrition & sleep & those things on top of it.”

Appreciate the day, the people around you, and the chance to keep building. Growth doesn't stop, and it isn't accidental. Attack you ! Happy Easter #MuskieFamily #RollSkies
Extremely thankful to be a part of the @NCAA and @NFL Leadership Academy this year I had a great time learning from and with some great pieces of the coaching industry and I’m excited to bring what I’ve experienced back to @LUMuskieFB
On the road this weekend checking out guys at the Arizona Senior Showcase on the hunt for Class of 26 Muskies w/ @LUCoachGlo & @CoachGMaynes
Honored and fired up to be selected for the @NCAA & @NFL Coaches Academy this year in Indy. Grateful to have an opportunity to learn and connect with coaches to sharpen my craft and pour it back into the men we have here at @LUMuskieFB
