The average new car now sells for $50,562.
In 1990 it was about $15,000.
You used to buy a car. Now you finance a second mortgage that rusts.

I hope MLB looks at this Rays–Brewers series and realizes how good this was for baseball.
Two smaller markets. Real baseball. Drama without the same five logos on a loop.
You want the sport to grow? That’s what a World Series that feels fresh does.

Nearly six years ago, the Proud Boys vandalized a historically Black church’s property during the unrest following the 2020 Presidential Election. The case resulted in the group losing the trademark to their name, but it didn’t end there.

The obvious overlooked fact here is that radio is incredibly cheap to produce: two broadcasters, a local radio engineer and a phone line is all you need. Radio doesn’t compete with TV but complements the TV broadcast. Baseball is better with both.
Replying to @DavidPSamson
@DavidPSamson says MLB no longer needs radio: "We don't need baseball on radio anymore." The former Marlins president predicts on Nothing Personal that "radio will go the way of Kodak and Blockbuster." @JohnMamola has more. #MLB

So Juan Garcia, who works 15 hours a day putting on roofs and hasn’t been able to save enough money to purchase a citizenship is a criminal but Flavio Bolsonaro from Brazil can come here without even a passport because he is friends with someone in this corrupt administration.🤦♂️🤬

The Haley Stevens de facto un-endorsement of AES on CNN on Sunday now makes so much more sense. Her fiancée is voting MAGA (and has previously donated to Susan Collins).
It doesn't matter what happens next Tuesday. The correct candidate lost in the Michigan primary.

I don’t want to have to prepare for a military emergency, I want my fuckass government to stop doing shit in other countries that makes everyone in the world hate us.
BREAKING: US military is preparing for the possibility of a major war that could cripple power grids, disrupt supply chains and threaten critical infrastructure on US soil, per NY Post.
It comes as Former FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino tells Americans to take the emergency preparedness warnings seriously, saying "Get your stuff today. Please. Do it for your family."

Am I missing something, or did James O'Keefe and Cam Higby blatantly tried to commit voter fraud in MN, got caught, and are freaking out because election integrity worked as it should?

I saw Flavio Bolsonaro had the audacity to thank the American people for “taking him in.” I don’t know why he said this? The American people didn’t do anything; his puppeteer, TRUMP did. We don’t want him here. Common-sense Americans want our tax dollars spent on OUR healthcare, OUR roads, OUR schools, but instead, the Republicans are using them to let this guy live the movie star life with our money. The Republicans have lost their minds. I don’t want to pay for this guy! Who the hell does he think he is? Not only is he stealing from the American taxpayer, he is further calling himself the “leader of Brazil,” after he just got smacked in an election. This is blatant election denialism, and it represents the dangerous, anti-democracy ideology that must not be allowed in our country. THE AMERICAN PEOPLE MUST NOT BE THIS GROWN MAN’S SUGAR DADDY! When Democrats win this election, unlike Flavio, every dollar going towards this sham must be investigated and DEFUNDED. That security detail? DEFUNDED. When Trump is gone, the Bolsonaros must be deported. They are not “asylum seekers”; they are authoritarians leeching off the hard-working American taxpayer. We work too hard for this. Enough.

The "Middle Class" didn't disappear, it was deliberately dismantled. In 1978, CEO pay was 30x the average worker. Today it's 351x. They didn't get 351x smarter or work 351x harder. They just rewrote the rules so all the productivity gains go to the top while you get a pizza party.
You would think the fading wing of the party, the Haley Stevens/Neera faction, would be a little bit more conciliatory toward the rising wing. Instead they've set themselves up to get blamed for what goes wrong and not get credit for what goes right because they couldn't stop bitterly complaining for a full 24-hour stretch after the primary.
Even Bernie in 2016, after the convention, was a loyal soldier through the general. I'm trying to imagine the meltdown if Bernie's wife said she was voting for Trump and Bernie responded by going on TV to say, yeah, I don't agree exactly, but here are all the terrible things about Hillary.

33-year-old Alex Klinner died in Trump’s war back in March. But since, 7 months later, Trump still isn’t calling it a war — his widow and their three small KIDS (7-month-old twins and a 2-year-old son) are being denied basic benefits.
Because those are only available to soldiers who die in WARS — not “excursions.”
I don’t ever want to hear from another Republican that their party “supports our troops.” You send them off to die, then desert them when they do.
