This is clearly NOT a Labour Government
NEW: Hearing whispers that John Healey is set to renege on the miners’ pension promise which Burnham campaigned on — will go down like cold sick in the many coalfield seats where Labour MPs are already fighting an uphill battle against Reform

There really was no reason for Healey to resign. But we all know why he did had nothing to do with what he said it was A traitor beyond all Traitors to assist Burnham and his coup
John Healey’s resignation was “the nail in the coffin” for Starmer’s government, says @darrenpjones “I just knew at that moment, that was it.” So how does he feel that the now-Chancellor is adopting the same policy he resigned over?

Oh dear ⬇️
UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham has sought to inject a sense of optimism into the country, promising 'growth in every postcode' — but as his 100-day anniversary approaches, do voters feel he's delivering for Britain? Here's what Labour swing voters think: ft.trib.al/75EMund

Great debate in HoC yesterday presented by my MP Chris Bloore...regarding the failure of Royal Mail I particularly like your input Darren and idea's of how to renationalise Royal
Royal Mail should be back in public hands. After years of missed delivery targets, Royal Mail has proven it can’t be run effectively by the private sector. That’s why I’ve called on the Government to renationalise it. If we fail to act, we risk losing Royal Mail for good.

People aren't as stupid as Burnham thinks they are and treats them as
Well The unsayable has just been said aloud to Shelagh Fogarty on LBC. The caller said that 100 days had been wasted to cheap populism. Burnham has spent the the time communicating badly and having to be explained, announcing work of 24/26 as his own and delaying any new ideas

Fu*king Joker He didn't believe in coup's either in 2016 - but organised an over year long coup against PM Starmer during 2024 to 2026.
To give a bit of context to this, this was during the phase where Andy was trying to suck up to Corbyn, hence the Corbyn argument for Brexit that he is developing here. He didnt believe this before this, and he didnt believe this after he was selected as Mayor.

They're at it again - kicking in to the long grass is now the main GOV policy
Ignore everything I have posted about the end of the cliff-edge for Carers Allowance. Chancellor has just revealed the change will not happen until April 2030! So the tax rate on an extra 1p above the expected £212 threshold from April expected to be 895000% on the penny or 8950% on an extra £1.

and it doesn't stop there xitter.cf/paullewismoney/status/…
It gets more complicated under state pension age. The earnings test is applied to the carer's net weekly wage after tax, NI, and half their pension contributions. Autoenrolment contributions begin at £192 a week and are 5% of wages above £120 a week. Tax/NI=20%+8% of wage above £241.73 a week.

Bet Burnham doesn't listen
NEW: Sir Keir Starmer’s policy director urges Burnham to double down on “mechanically cutting the rate of inflation” to lower mortgage rates. Writing publicly for the first time since leaving No10, Stuart Ingham says the PM should use “any additional fiscal room” to lower prices including by sustaining the VAT cut on energy bills beyond March 2027. He says this will feed through to mortgage interest rates if the Bank of England can be persuaded to hold or cut them. He argues in today’s @telegraph that for Labour “just about nothing is more important” than the cost of living, and points out that Starmer beat the Tories by 17 points among mortgage holders in 2024, after losing by 10 points among the same group in 2019. telegraph.co.uk/politics/202…

Rejoining the EU might help Labour squeeze the Lib Dems - but it would also mean gutting Andy Burnham’s own policy agenda, from devolution to reindustrialisation to trade to regulation. My latest for @theipaper inews.co.uk/opinion/burnham-…

🚨 Labour MP: EU freedom of movement debate risks undermining voter trust Melanie Onn, the MP for Great Grimsby and Cleethorpes, argues: - “Just as the wounds of Brexit begin to heal, there is a risk of pulling out the staples prematurely.” - “Freedom of movement was one of the defining issues” of the Brexit referendum - “Reopening freedom of movement risks reigniting divisions when the country desperately needs a more constructive conversation” - “The perception that promises made at elections can subsequently be revisited by a political establishment removed from the realities of working communities has left lasting scars.” @Politics_co_uk politics.co.uk/2026/10/melan…

Congratulations to President @LulaOficial on your re-election - a true victory for democracy and progressive values. I look forward continuing to work together as we create opportunities for people in the UK and Brazil.

We're being saccharated with Burnham crap every minute of the day. There's not a moments breathing space from it.
EU. Of course Burnham didn't tell the cabinet what he was going to say. How could he? He doesn't know himself until it comes out of his fkin mouth. Oh ffs. We had a cautious PM with heft who was getting results and now we've got this. Some mornings it's just too much. #R4today

Wah wah ooops !! Burnham caught with his pants down again
Andy Burnham is proven to be talking rubbish on Brexit and small boats by his own Home Secretary. She knows what she is talking about. He does not. Are they even talking to each other?

Again?? Burnham and Healey had already written to Cabinet Members a couple of months ago - for cuts in their Budgets as there wasn't enough money to pay for Burnhams unfunded spending spree
