Great day out for the lads at the @ACESfootballUK. 30 of the best teams in the country. Lads done well in the group and qualified for the knockouts. A great win in the last 16 against Luton gave us a tough tie to Bournemouth who beat us 1-0 in the quarter final. Proud of the lads

Staggering stats. 97% of former cat 1 academy players now aged 21 to 26 never made an EPL appearance.
70% weren't handed a pro contract at an EPL or EFL club. And only 1 in 10 went on to make more than 20 league appearances in the top four tiers of English football.

Great last minute game against @Lairds33 tonight which puts us in good stead for the first league this upcoming Saturday.
Big thanks to colts who are one of the beat youth sides the wirral have produced.

Today, at the semi final stages of both the Boys U12 and U16 age groups we had to suspend play due to thunder and lightening close to the venue, followed by very heavy rain.
The semi finals will be played at a future date and at venues agreeable to all eight teams.

You've now been in the leasowe/wallasey enough to have listened and understood the needs of the local grassroots community - £148.50 for a u13 11aside match. Your so out of touch. 1/2
