I’d you’re shocked at the damage in France to an old town hall you’ll be horrified to hear what’s happened to the beautiful old buildings and heritage of the Palestinians, Lebanese, Syrians, Iraqis and Afghans

Hasan Piker when asked about what happened to "Saturday Funday" and why he is covering the protests in France:
"This is a huge fucking story. Not only does this have international significance, not only are there lessons we can learn from what is going on France but also, a big part of the protests are being backed by our friends in @FranceInsoumise in France, led by @JLMelenchon, who I've interviewed on this broadcast in the past when I was in France.
This is a huge deal for one of the largest countries in the European Union. If Germany is the industrial engine that backs the European economy, France is the bleeding heart of it."
