Nigeria too should ban all of these Ebola belt from entering Nigeria.
We can't have Ebola getting exposed to a country of 240 Million people.
The earlier the better.

The unnecessary panic driving some countries to CLOSE their borders and RESTRICT TRAVEL because of Ebola is not supported by scientific evidence and undermines effective outbreak control.
The @WHO has been explicit advised against any restriction of travel to, or trade with, affected countries.
Evidence based recommendations for Ebola outbreak control include:
1. early detection;
2. contact tracing;
3. isolation of cases;
4. and coordinated cross-border public health responses.
In fact, indiscriminate travel restrictions risk pushing people towards informal border crossings, where health screening and surveillance are more difficult.
Governments should focus on strengthening their public health systems and regional cooperation rather than imposing blanket restrictions that may achieve little in controlling transmission.

El Salvador denied my visa because Kenya reported 8 Ebola cases even though authorities in Nairobi maintain that there’s no widespread outbreak.
El Salvador has banned citizens of DRC & random neighboring East & Central African countries - including many without any cases 🇷🇼 🇪🇹

How did a Kenyan doomsday preacher Paul Mackenzie convince hundreds of parents to starve their children to death?

The so called FAITH/RELIGION can radicalize many.
I hope he gets the death sentence. Kenya doesn't execute, but I imagine it would be a more difficult task to pardon him if he's in death row, so he spends the rest of his life in prison. Never getting a chance to get out and cause more deaths.
I don't know how pardons work though

On behalf of the government and people of South Africa, I offer warm congratulations to His Excellency President @PaulKagame and the government and people of Rwanda on securing a 10-year agreement to host the Formula 1 African Grand Prix.
South Africa shares in the pride with which Rwanda is preparing to fly the chequered flag for our continent with the hosting of a globally prestigious event at the planned Bugesera circuit from the early 2030s.
This contract is a recognition of the capabilities of the Rwandan nation and of our continent more broadly.
As host of the first Grand Prix on African soil in 1993, and organiser of other major global events, South Africa will be happy to provide any support we may be invited to share.
The F1 African Grand Prix is another lustrous addition to Rwanda’s growing collection of top international events, including the UCI-classified Tour du Rwanda cycling race.
Congratulations, Rwanda.
You are in pole position to make all of Africa proud and take motorsport to new heights.
This will be Rwanda's purpose-built Formula 1 circuit near its new airport in Bugesera called RISE Motordrome, "a state-of-the-art motorsport destination" with room for 100,000 spectators
