I was about to make a joke about season 5 starting with Rebecca's nameplate and it ending with a new last name because she got married, but I just realized...does Mattijs have a last name? Were we even told that?

I wish they’d actually let Zelda take control of the club and then next season we could’ve seen Rebecca fighting to get it back, a real proper storyline! Instead it was exposed and then resolved in under 60 seconds so what was the point whatsoever in the whole thing

if it’s true t/r will never happen and rebecca must have a romantic story, why not create a new character w multiple points of entry into the story played by an actor who didn’t have scheduling conflicts to be rebecca’s love interest? it makes no sense to me at all.

ain’t that the million dollar question
You know a quick scene they could have added that would have brought Nora back in, showed Jelka was incorporated into their family dynamic? They coulda had Rebecca meet up with Nora and Jelka at the fancy tea and sandwiches place and imply Nora set it up to bond with Jelka.
I think what immediately took the wind out of my sails over the excitement of a betrayal buildup was when in the previous episode Zelda had to out loud explain to the audience that SHE was behind the evil plan. Immediately lost me, unlike the slow build of Nate betraying Ted.
People who picked up on the subtle cues would be rewarded for paying attention and people who didn't notice get to be surprised in an interesting way.
I feel like there was a lot of potential in the plot, but a trend I've noticed lately with the writers is they really struggle
