The High Court of New Zealand has ruled a blanket ban on puberty blockers for trans youth in the country is unlawful. The regulation, due to take effect in December last year, would have prevented doctors from prescribing puberty blockers to new patients experiencing gender dysphoria or gender incongruence. But in a judgment handed down on Wednesday, the court found the Health Minister’s decision was unlawful and the regulations should be set aside. Justice Dale La Hood said it was “a discriminatory and disproportionate response” and there was “overwhelming clinical support” for the use of puberty blockers to treat gender dysphoria. "Youth requiring treatment for gender dysphoria/incongruence are being denied access to clinically appropriate medicine to which their peers have access for different conditions,” the judgment said. The Professional Association for Transgender Health Aotearoa (PATHA) brought the case against the NZ Ministry of Health over the ban.

Hypothetically what happens if Trump found a loophole where he could run again but only as a Democrat & the election is between Trump and Vance? Do we still vote blue no matter who, is Vance the lesser of two evils? Could we criticize the DNC for not finding a better candidate?
There’s admittedly something very funny about doing the whole “I will vote for Gavin Newson if I have to!” bit two whole years before the election like how do you expect to have even an inkling of leverage if you’re confirming your support for Democrat Hitler 2 years in advance?

There's a real problem with extroverts like this who lack social skills. It's okay to stop talking occasionally and just observe and try to understand other people, instead of launching into your 7th hilarious story of how you lost your keys but found them in your bag.
I dislike introverts who need to be told everything multiple times when in a group setting. You have to keep offering them food, try hard to engage them and check on them to ensure they are ok. They will just sit quietly in a corner and you will never know if they are ok or not, or if they are upset or need care. I hate doing that labour for them. Like dude you can talk, you are normal! You are an adult, not a child. Please emote, talk and let others know what you want or don't want. Be a part of what's going on and don't kill the vibe by just disconnecting with who's around you. Sincerely, an extrovert who always puts that effort.

I'm starting to understand why millennials are struggling to find work - the social norm has shifted & they're giving bad advice. It's now unprofessional if you *don't* bring an iced coffee to the interview. Don't question it or complain, just keep up with the changing norms.

I don't get why coffee would be a problem at an interview but it's important to remember that interviews aren't one way. You're also interviewing them. They have power (especially if you're desperate for a job) but weird rules like that tell you what kind of employer they'll be.
hate to agree with the millennials but why is gen z literally addicted to resisting job advice… they’re on tiktok having meltdowns about authority because they’re being told they shouldn’t bring iced coffee to an interview

One of my fears is that if dems win again, Americans will just go back to this delusion that the US is an otherwise good place that everyone likes. But the problem isn't just Trump, it isn't solved by getting him out of office.

I don't get why dems are conceding on things like genocide, trans & immigrants rights etc & are concerned when people are less likely to vote. If you need their votes, create policy that helps them. If you don't need their votes, don't demand they vote against their rights.

let’s break this down 🧵
it’s wild that the heritage foundation wrote in text that the assault on trans woman particularly in sports is their first step in their efforts to completely abolish all Title IX protections and liberals still don’t believe it’s about more than trans women in sports
