Always seemed like Jay Rockefeller picked WV because it was an easy state to buy, to win in politically. A (partial) rich-kid carpetbagger.
If he did good things he undid many of them by being an absolute fountain of leaks to undermine the Iraq War. Whatever you thought of the war and of GW Bush, Jay's actions were cynical and, frankly, traitorous.

When the features & benefits of ballot measures, referendums or amendments are laid out in clear language intended to draw support grumpy Democrats accuse the authors of 'making it sound appealing' - especially after the measures are passed!
