For all those out there who keep telling me that Hospitality should "pay their way and asking for a VAT cut is unrealistic"
A vat cut to 10% in Hospitality would cost c£4bn (HMRC) - FACT
Tax generated by Hospitality in 2022 was c£54bn (UKH) - FACT
Hospitality generates enormous amounts in tax to fund public services. We still will - FACT
However we have to be here to do that. - FACT
It will just be 50bn rather than 54bn, which will reduce annually to nothing through increased tax returns so Hospitality will end up paying the same but through Corp Tax rather than VAT tax (the irony!) - as shown in Europe! - FACT
Cutting Taxes generates taxes! - FACT
10% of something is better than 20% of nothing. - FACT
If you want to argue with me argue the facts.

You think you shared, tagged and posted... DO it again tomorrow.
One post, sees 0.01% signatures, no matter the amount of followers... think on that
Of course if you can get some big swingers involved that helps..

It took around 7 hours to get there BUT @BoringdonHall was well worth it. The food at @AcleafDevon was star quality and some of the best service I’ve experienced in a long time. Thank you @scottipaton & team for looking after us so well. What an amazing experience ❤️

The generational change needed for our industry is 👇👇
#CUTTHEVAT
Yet, like during COVID it requires all #hospitality to unite, not fracture.
That's just my opinion though.
@Sacha_Lord @UKHospKate @ChefTomKerridge @EssexPR
Many argue it's "never going to happen" well it won't if we don't try together united.
Don't blame leaders in our industry.

It’s this that angers me!! This fuckery wording that tries to confuse people in to thinking they are helping. A freeze does not save anyone anything…it means it’s not increasing by 3p…there’s no saving…for anyone. Fuck off!!
