The race @maddow is watching? #NV02, where @Teresa4Nevada is running against Republican @DavidFlippoNV, who:
- repeatedly lied about his military record
- broke campaign finance laws
- was called a fraud by the retiring Republican in the seat, who refuses to vote for him

For the last 4 years, Lombardo has made his priorities loud and clear. Everyday Nevadans arenāt one of them. We deserve a leader who puts us first. Tomorrow is Election Day, and YOU have the power to veto his next 4 years!

Ashley Moody NEVER walked the line with you @TeamsterSOB. But ok brother. Shout out to all the rank & file Teamsters that are voting for me. I will ALWAYS STAND WITH YOU!
Teamsters General President Sean OāBrien here. Just voted in the State of Florida for the first time, and very proud to have cast a ballot for @SenAshleyMoody. Sen. Moody has been extremely helpful working with the Teamsters to protect workersā pensions, defend good-paying jobs, and support well-funded union apprenticeship programs. The Teamsters look forward to working with Sen. Moody in her role on the Senate HELP Committee to pass the Faster Labor Contracts Act and get this critical legislation signed into law to protect American workers.

The difference is that the New York Times, which has a lot of credibility with left of center audiences, treated Alaska as a huge scandal while totally ignoring it in Nevada.
Can't get enough of this ratf*ck GOP Nevada mailer that makes it look like a left-wing candidate who shares a last name with the Dem candidate is endorsed by AOC.
It's not just Alaska - this crap is in the DNA of modern campaigns. thenevadaindependent.com/artā¦

Craig is a friend and fmr colleague. Great dude who happens to be a Republican. Conservatives like Craig have for many decades (sometimes rightfully) complained about media bias.
But here is another example of the double standard from the @nytimes. They run a splashy Alaska story about Peltola, but nothing about the GOP-supported fake Dem candidate in Nevada with the same last name as the actual Dem candidate (@AaronDFordNV) - no investigation by either the NYT or the DOJā¦
In 2024 the Alaska GOP boosted a non-Alaskan who was literally incarcerated to siphon votes away from Peltola and even *this year* the Alaska GOP directly supported an extreme Green Party candidate.
Itās insane the @nytimes sat on this story until 9 days after early voting started.
In Nevada, there are three candidates running for governor. One, Danielle Ford, is running w/o a party affiliation. Ford happens to share the last name of the Democrat on the ticket, Aaron Ford.
Different from Alaska, in that it's not the first name that's shared, too.
However...
Danielle Ford is being boosted by a mysterious PAC. That PAC has ties to Republicans. It's office is "a mailbox office rental company in the same commercial complex as" the Republican in the race: Gov. Joe Lombardo.
Is this Alaska-like? Maybe. Maybe not. A shared office space doesn't necessarily mean coordination. But it's certainly interesting.
Does it show that these shady things happen all over the place, yeah. And there's plenty more examples, too.
