Trump is sickening.
Moments ago in South Carolina, he just called Dr. Annie Andrews “tranny Annie Andrews”.
Are these the people you actually want running our government? I don’t care what political party you support, it’s time for change and you have to admit that.
There’s everything wrong with this and I know I’m voting Democrat because I’m sick and tired of it.

💔🇺🇦 ZELENSKYY: YOU CANNOT SIMPLY FORGIVE WHAT RUSSIA HAS DONE TO UKRAINE!
ZELENSKYY: “So many people had their hearts ripped out, and there won’t be a new heart.”
He says victims and their families deserve justice, accountability, and at least some moral solace.
“The guilty must be punished. It’s totally impossible to simply forgive.”
Peace cannot erase the suffering of millions of Ukrainians. Those responsible for war crimes must face justice — because without accountability, the wounds of this war will never truly heal. 🇺🇦

#SteveWitkoff is a danger to western democracies. So is #JaredKushner and his father-in-law as well.

Three waves of ballistic missiles have been launched at Kyiv by Russian “humanitarians” since yesterday evening. They used 21 missiles. Unfortunately, numerous sites across the city have been hit and damaged: ordinary residential buildings, energy facilities, infrastructure at one of the railway stations and the metro, shopping malls, and businesses. Even a monastery is among the damaged sites. Our emergency services are working at all the affected locations. Twelve of our regions came under Russian attack overnight. In Kyiv and across the regions, 34 people were injured, including five children. As of now, two people have been confirmed killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones.
Almost immediately after another round of talks, Russia launched a pointed attack. This means there has been no real change in its attitude toward everything that is happening. It is important to keep trying to find the right solutions to end this war. But when Russia responds to negotiations with ballistic missiles, real pressure on Russia is needed to bring about different steps – steps toward ending the killing. Stronger air defenses and the rapid delivery of missiles, the ability to destroy ballistic missile launchers, sanctions over the war – all of this must be in place. I am grateful to everyone who sees the situation for what it is and acknowledges the reality. The aggressor deserves to be treated accordingly. Ukraine deserves support. People's lives deserve protection. Thank you to everyone who stands with Ukraine!

Being a Republican voter is almost as cultish as being MAGA. Why else would anyone vote for Ken Paxton? A simple Google search reveals everything the guy’s done.

He could have lived in exile, but he chose war. 20-year-old "Twix" died in the Kursk region while covering his fellow soldiers.
At 17, he resisted the occupation. At 19, he joined the Special Operations Forces (SOF). And at 20, he perished while shielding his comrades from shrapnel.
This is the story of Anatolii Pavlenko—call sign "Twix."
In the Kherson region, he photographed Russian tanks and relayed their coordinates to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Once, the occupiers noticed his "suspicious" behavior; he barely managed to delete everything from his phone in time.
His greatest fear was being forcibly conscripted into the Russian army. Friends helped him escape to Latvia.
Yet, a quiet life abroad offered him no peace.
"A carefree, peaceful life didn't suit him; he couldn't find his place there. He said he missed the adrenaline," recalls a childhood friend.
At 19, he joined the Special Operations Forces, becoming a machine gunner and a combat diver.
His brothers-in-arms knew him as a guy whose sincerity bordered on naivety—he would always speak the truth directly to someone's face, even if it meant facing punishment.
He also adored "Twix" chocolate bars; he would constantly buy them for his comrades, leaving the wrappers scattered all around him. It was because of these treats that he earned his call sign. Once, in the heat of battle, Anatoliy saved the life of his closest comrade-in-arms, "Filia." Filia had been wounded in the arm, and had it not been for the decisive actions of "Twix"—who provided covering fire—Filia would never have made it out alive.
Tolik also dreamed of marrying his beloved, Viktoriia. He kept notes of her birthday and her favorite flowers, fearing that the concussions he had sustained might cause him to forget such things.
She dreamed of living by the sea—so he rented an apartment in Odesa.
Before his final mission, he wrote to her: "Get a manicure. I’ll be back on leave, and we’re definitely getting married."
He was killed on January 18, 2025. Now, his favorite candy bars always lie upon his grave.
"Teachers used to say, 'You’ll never amount to anything.' But he grew up to be a hero."
