The Scottish government would be better advised to honour real Scottish history instead of making up a load of old nonsense to fit in with the current brainwashed and ideologically captured generation.
For example, what about the generations who toiled in the shipyards, built the vessels that sailed to every corner of the world, and made the Clyde synonymous with engineering excellence? What about the miners, steelworkers, fishermen and dock workers whose hard work helped build modern Scotland?
What about the engineers, innovators and inventors whose ideas transformed industries across the globe and whose ingenuity helped shape the modern world? Scotland has a proud history of enterprise, industry, craftsmanship and achievement. The stories of the men and women who built thriving communities, developed world-class skills and left a lasting legacy deserve to be remembered, preserved and celebrated.
Rather than attempting to reinterpret our past through a modern political lens, we should be teaching future generations about the real people whose dedication, resilience and innovation helped make Scotland what it is today.

I grew up in Scotland. There were no black children in my school. There were no black families in the area where I lived. When I left school and started work, there were no black people in any of my places of employment. I did not know a single black person.
This is not a racist post. I am simply stating the truth. Scotland was almost entirely white until relatively recently.
