A civil engineer, married with three children, Mohammed, Elena and Haitham.Witness to the genocide in Gaza ๐Ÿ’”

After three years of war and genocide, during which I lost almost everythingโ€ฆ my home, my job, my stability, and everything I had built through years of hard work. But they could not take my dream away from me. I am a civil engineer from Gaza. My workplace was destroyed, my life changed completely, and I found myself facing a reality I never chose. But I refuse to let the war be the end, and I refuse to spend the rest of my life held captive by what it destroyed. Today, I am starting over, not because the road has become easier, but because giving up is not an option. This semester, I began studying for a masterโ€™s degree in Geomatics Engineering, taking my first steps toward reclaiming my future and fulfilling my dream of becoming a successful engineer who contributes his knowledge and experience to rebuilding my homeland and reconstructing what the war has destroyed. I may have lost years of my life, countless opportunities, and the security I had every right to enjoy, but I still have the determination to start from scratch, even if I have to carve my way through the rubble. We, the people of Gaza, may have our homes destroyed, our jobs taken away, and our dreams scattered by war, but it will never decide on our behalf how our story ends. This is not merely the beginning of my masterโ€™s studies; it is the beginning of a new battle, a battle of knowledge, determination, and rebuilding the future. I will keep moving forward, for myself, for my children, and for a homeland that deserves to rise again. ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ธโค๏ธ A photo from my bachelorโ€™s degree graduation celebrations in Civil Engineering.โค๏ธ

My children cannot live on my words alone. Every day, I try to find a way to provide food, medicine, and a little hope for my children here in Gaza. Iโ€™m exhausted, but I cannot give up on them. If you can donate even $5, it could make a difference for my family. If you cannot donate, please share this post. chuffed.org/project/201067

My advice to you: cherish the blessings you have and appreciate the simplest things in life. Here in Gaza, we are missing things many of you take for granted. Even clean drinking water has become a dream we struggle every day to achieve. ๐Ÿ’” Please never underestimate the value of the little things. ๐Ÿ™

Good morning from Gaza ... Every morning, we wake up carrying simple wishes in our hearts: to find food for our children, medicine for our sick, and a little safety to reassure our weary hearts. We donโ€™t need miracles; we just want to live in peace. ๐Ÿ™

In Gaza, missiles do not just steal homes and lives; they also leave painful scars that haunt children from their very first moments in life. ๐Ÿ’”

My children ask me every day: โ€œDad, how long will we have to keep living in a tent?โ€ And I remain unable to answerโ€ฆ Tell us, how long will this pain continue, and when will the day come when our children can find safety in a home worthy of their childhood?๐Ÿ’”

Please, donโ€™t let my dream end just $500 away.๐Ÿ’” After three years of war, losing my home and stability, and enduring displacement, Iโ€™m still fighting to earn my masterโ€™s degree in Geomatics Engineering. But today, my dream is at risk because Iโ€™m still $500 short of my first-semester tuition fees. Iโ€™ve come too far to give up now. Iโ€™m asking you, from the bottom of my heart, to help me take this final step toward a better future for me and my children. Even $5 or $10 can bring me closer to my goal. Please, donโ€™t scroll past. If you canโ€™t donate, share this post so it can reach someone who can.๐Ÿ™ chuffed.org/project/201067

Can you imagine what it feels like to receive a phone call from someone threatening to kill you, saying: โ€œDo you want to die alone, or do you want you and your family to die together? This is what we have been experiencing in Gaza recently at the hands of the Israeli occupation, before families are targeted and killed. Terrifying threats that leave a person facing two choices, each more painful than the other: to face death alone, or to put their familyโ€™s lives at risk alongside their own. ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ˜ญ
