🚨 ARSON SUSPECT ARRESTED IN WASHINGTON WILDFIRES
Authorities have arrested a man on first-degree arson charges in connection with one of the devastating wildfires near Spokane.
The suspect has prior offenses in Arizona and was found with matches and a lighter. He is being held on $1 million bond.
Charges currently relate to the Old Trails fire.
The broader situation remains severe:
- Three active fires
- Still at 0% containment
- More than 700 homes destroyed
- Tens of thousands forced to evacuate
- Nearly 30,000 structures still threatened
Residents returning to neighborhoods are finding only foundations and brick chimneys left standing. Emotions are raw as families process the loss, and the possibility that at least one fire was started intentionally.
Crews continue battling hot spots while dealing with air-quality impacts across multiple states.

My husband and I sprayed down our house with a garden hose until we were told we HAD to leave. Those 5-6 men saved the rest, took us to safety and brought us back.
When those 6 men, I said SIX, had gotten the road and our neighbors house mostly out, they came back down to the beach and brought us home. Helped bring up our things and all. We will never be able to thank them enough for what they did that night.
They did it selflessly. Ensured us that they would try to save our home. And they did. Helped us get our cat (the other was too freaked out to leave, which in turn gave me a full panic attack) my father in law, and our things safely down to the beach.

Hey friends down south, you need to keep an eye on this fire. I shared the fox fire a few days ago, and the Tartar fire that was only 12k acres at the time has exploded and is on the edge of Weiser.

Im going to take a moment and say this. Please read.
If I am sharing stuff like videos of fires it is to give the true information from the ground to show the severity of the situation. It also shows how many people will need help.
Please remember thay fires destroy fast, and people cant always grab everything on their way out. Please remember to there are locations you can donate to to help people affect by fire. Local churches, shelters, food banks, and collection centers.
We are Americans and we help each other, that is what we do. It is our duty to care for our neighbors and in times of need, thays what a community does. Though not everyone can help financially, but food banks and collections are a great way to help, even if its just a couple cans of beans.

MORNING FIRE UPDATE!
SPOKANE - the 3 fires are now deemed the Spokane Complex Fire. Its reporteded over 600 structures are gone, mostly homes. The fires are still raging as there will still be a lighter wind today though temps are much lower in the low 70's.
TARTAR FIRE - this fire is located in south west Idaho along the Snake River. From the wind it grew 40,000 acres over night. There are homes lost, and it is now on the edge of town in Weiser, ID and still moving. All though it is 51% contained it's still moving south strong. Hwy 95 is closed just north of Weiser.
LITTLE GIANT FIRE - this fire is on Lake Chelan and grew over night with the wind and has jumped the lake and is starting to burn on both sides. There are a lot of updated evacuations on this fire.
RED SKY FIRE - This fire popped up yesterday as the Vegitation Fire and was renamed. It is now 5000 acres and is on the border of south Yakima, WA. There are several level 3 evacuation areas from Leisure Park and west. Keep an eye on this one as well for more evacuations.
COLUMBIA RIVER - there are multiple large fires. The Kaiser Canyon Fire, Madrite Fire, Hudspeth Fire, Bradeen Hill Fire, and new Mitre Rock Fire. All fires grew yesterday and are getting update. The Mitre Fire started yesterday afternoon and is already 1500 acres and threatening homes.
THE STATE OF OREGON - uhhhhhhh its on fire. Eastern Oregon is just on fire. There are so many fires over 100k acres all i can say is download the Watch Duty App and start looking.
