Tailscale is great software, so it's unfortunate to see so many people sharing this as "Tailscale got hacked.", which is misleading. This is not about unauthenticated attackers breaking into random Tailscale nodes. It's what attackers can do after gaining authorized SSH access or compromising an already trusted device. If I understand correctly, you are secure if you only use Tailscale for your own devices and don't grant anyone else access, which is how many people use it.
‼️ Researcher Erica Windisch skipped coordinated vulnerability disclosure and published 11 unpatched Tailscale flaws. In her lab, Tailscale SSH race conditions let one hacked device get root on other servers and add a rogue node.

Lots of unjustified hype around DeepSeek DeepInfer. Let me tell you why you shouldn't waste your time on it: 1/n 🧵 - It only targets V4.1‑Flash, not even DeepSeek V3, V3.2 or V4.0. Supporting Qwen and other models also needs a full model and kernel port.
🚀 Introducing DeepInfer, our in-house inference framework, now fully open source! Powering DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash at scale with high throughput and low latency. We’re sharing our production stack to help the community lower compute costs, reduce energy use, and make AI more affordable. 🔗 github.com/deepseek-ai/DeepI… 1/4

try Qwen3.8-flash thru qwen's own token plan. it's dirt cheap, much much better than payg pricing. and it's smarter than deepseek-v4.1-flash. if you're cheap regular techy guy like me this is the best choice you have, forget about those expensive subs that don't last you a week. I've been hammering it for 12 days now, 1.52 BILLION tokens for merely $7.54 ! my invitation link: qwencloud.com/benefits/token…..

⚡Meet Qwen3.8-Flash, a multimodal MoE and an early preview of the Qwen4 architecture, now open-weight! The production version Qwen3.8-Flash will be available soon via QwenCloud API at just $ 0.16/1M input tokens and $ 0.47/1M output tokens. 125B parameters + 51B N-gram embeddings, with just 6B activated per token. Unmatched cost-efficiency. What's new: 🥳 - Next architecture: GDN + QSA hybrid attention, Gated Residual, N-gram Embedding & Muon optimizer, serving as a precursor to the architecture used in Qwen4. - Dramatically lower training and inference costs: trained at just 1/9 the cost of Qwen3.7-Plus, while outperforming it across the board with especially strong gains in coding and office tasks. - Strong performance: scoring 58.7 on DeepSWE 1.1, 62.5 on SWE-bench Pro, 73.9 on CoWorkBench, 84.5 on AndroidWorld, and 95.7 on MathVision (with CI). - 262K native context, extensible to 1M with YaRN. We’re also releasing the weights for Qwen3.8-Flash-Next, giving the community an early look at the new architecture we’re exploring for Qwen4.🚀 We can't wait to see what you build with Qwen3.8-Flash!👀👇 - Blog: qwen.ai/blog?id=qwen3.8-flas… - Technical Report: github.com/QwenLM/Qwen3.8-Fl… - Hugging Face: huggingface.co/Qwen/Qwen3.8-… - ModelScope: modelscope.cn/models/Qwen/Qw…

Your brain has a tiny RAM. When you keep 7 half decisions in your head, your prefrontal cortex keeps refreshing them and you feel “busy” while doing nothing. Do a 2 minute capture dump on paper, then pick 1 next physical action. Your mind gets quiet fast.

🚨 DeepSeek V4 (GA) is reportedly in testing. Early reports suggest: • Opus 4.8-level performance • Much stronger agentic behavior • Significant coding improvements • Major gains in 3D generation • Direct competitor to Kimi K3 and Claude Fable • Rumored pricing: $0.0028 per 1M tokens If that pricing is accurate, DeepSeek V4 could be orders of magnitude cheaper than today's frontier models while delivering near-frontier intelligence. This could be one of the most disruptive AI releases we've ever seen. Performance is becoming a commodity. Cost will become the battlefield.

Winston Churchill fought his depression with bricks. He'd lay them for hours at his country home in Kent. He joined the bricklayers' union. And in 1921 he wrote about why it worked. It took psychology another 75 years to catch up. He called his depression the "Black Dog." It followed him for decades. His method for fighting it back was as basic as it sounds: laying brick after brick, hour after hour. Churchill spelled out his theory in a long essay for The Strand Magazine. People who think for a living, he wrote, can't fix a tired brain just by resting it. They have to use a different part of themselves. The part that moves the eyes and the hands. Woodworking, chemistry, bookbinding, bricklaying, painting. Anything that drags the body into a problem the mind can't solve by itself. Modern psychology now calls this behavioral activation. It's one of the most-studied depression treatments out there. Depression sets a behavior trap. You feel bad, so you stop doing things, and doing less means less to feel good about. Feeling worse makes you do even less. The loop tightens until you can't breathe inside it. Behavioral activation breaks the loop from the action side. You schedule the activity first, even when every part of you doesn't want to. Doing it produces small rewards: a wall gets straighter, a painting fills in, a messy room gets clean. Those small rewards slowly rewire the brain. Action comes first, and the feeling follows. Researchers at the University of Washington put this to the test in 2006. They studied 241 adults with major depression and compared three treatments: behavioral activation, regular talk therapy, and antidepressants. For the people who were most severely depressed, behavioral activation matched the drugs. It beat the talk therapy. A 2014 review of more than 1,500 patients across 26 trials backed up the result. Physical work like bricklaying does something extra on top of this. It crowds out rumination, the looping bad thoughts that grind people down during the worst stretches of depression. Bricklaying needs both hands and gives feedback brick by brick: each one is straight or crooked. After an hour you can see exactly how much wall you built. No room left for the mental chewing. The line George Mack used in his post, "depression hates a moving target," is good poetry. The science behind it is sharper. Depression hates a brain that has somewhere else to be.
Winston Churchill used to lay 200 bricks per day to keep his mind busy when feeling down. Depression hates a moving target.
