Adidas are going to be a busy kit manufacturer in 2027.
On top of the NSW and Roosters brand deals - the global kit giant will be making kits for Parramatta and now Melbourne for next season.
Some details of the Roosters offer to Sam Walker have been revealed.
The two sides had all but agreed on a $1.1 million a season deal with a ratchet clause, while also dangling the carrot of Walker becoming Roosters captain when James Tedesco retires.
But when Walker came back asking if the Roosters had room to lift the offer to $1.5 million a season with no ratchet clause, the deal was pulled entirely.
Walker’s camp was allegedly blindsided by the decision.

It was this that was the last straw for Politis who pulled the offer and WON’T return to the negotiating table.
