You think your website builds trust? Test it. Find something on your page only your business could say. Look for real evidence behind your claims. Check whether your words and images tell the same story. Struggling? That's the tricky part. We know what a trustworthy website should look like, but spotting what's missing on our own is much harder. I've put together a free preview of The Trust Audit Kit: Semiotics Edition, with six practical questions to help you see your website through a visitor's eyes. Ten minutes. A fresh perspective. Fewer expensive guesses. Download the free preview below.

Posting more on social media to fix a conversion problem is still the wrong decision. Because attention can't answer the question a visitor asks when they land: why should I believe this?

A good marketing tactic applied to the wrong problem is still the wrong decision. Because changing your headline, redesigning your website, or adding testimonials won't help if you haven't questioned what's actually holding buyers back.

Your visitor’s hesitation isn’t really about your product. It’s a question your page didn’t answer, because they can’t ask it. If you don’t know the question, you can’t fix it. What would a stranger want to know before they trust you? Write three. Then check your page for them.

Your real competitor might not be another product. It might be “I’ll think about it.” That usually means a doubt your page didn’t answer, because nobody was there to ask. The free 10-Minute Trust Scan helps you find it: six questions, your homepage.

Your About page isn’t really about you. It’s where a stranger checks whether a real person is behind this, because they can’t see you. If it reads like a template, they find nobody. What happened that made you build this? Start the page there.

From an idea to a finished workbook. And now a real transaction. A small moment perhaps. But a meaningful one for me. Because behind that little green “Succeeded” is a lot of work nobody saw. The Trust Audit Kit: Semiotics Edition is officially live. 💛 trust-audit-kit.whop.site/

Your photos and your words are each doing a job. Are they telling the same story? Try this: write three words your copy gives off, then three words your photos give off. If the lists don’t match, a visitor may feel it before they can say why.

Hiii :) Crazy busy bringing these to life, so if I’m slow, I’m probably rechecking a headline. On Monday 26 October I will present to you (I hope you will appreciate it, fingers crossed): The Trust Audit Workbook: It will help you spot the gaps in how your website talks to your audience. So, before frantically redoing your website after seeing less or no audience retention, JUST STOP. You need to analyse what’s not working. Trust Audit workbook will help you find and fix those gaps. The Trust Decoder: I will answer all your questions pertaining to marketing and communication strategy, one question at a time. I know all of you wear the marketing hat and are learning it on the go. And many of you have told me the challenges you face and the doubts you have when it comes to marketing/communication strategy. So, now you can directly send me your questions. For example, a concept that you get but you don’t know how to practically apply to your unique situation. Let’s say, you know what a marketing funnel is and in theory how it works, but in your specific situation you don’t know how to apply it. I can help you with that. Wish me luck. I need it. :) Love Sadaf (okay back to work)

Don't redesign. Find the weak signal first.

Most founders are one honest diagnosis away from understanding why everything else they tried did not work. Not a redesign. Not a new headline. A diagnosis.

The buyer who found you through a warm referral converted. The buyer who found you cold did not. The difference was not the product. It was the trust baseline they arrived with. Your page has to build that baseline from zero. Every time. For every cold visitor.

Nobody is going to tell you what broke the trust. Not the visitor who left. Not the analytics dashboard. The signal problem is invisible until you have the right lens.

Exactly :) That’s why every score needs written evidence from the page, plus an outside read from someone who didn’t build it, because you know what every line means and a stranger doesn’t. I’ve run it on one real site so far, a local business app. Out of the many things it surfaced, three stood out: 1. a main selling point buried in the FAQ. 2. copy that described the product more than the customer. 3. endorsements from organisations but no customer voices. The changes aren’t live yet, so I’ll share what I can once they are. What I can say now: it won’t guarantee more sales, rescue a product that doesn’t deliver, or replace talking to your customers. What it will do is show you where your page may be creating doubt and what to fix first, with evidence from the page itself, because you can’t fix what you can’t see.

Reading the page cold is the useful part. Six lenses, 18 tests - the score only matters if it shows what a stranger actually sees.
