You’ve always been a high achiever — top of your class, captain of your sports teams, star performer at work. That doesn't mean you'll automatically be a great manager. hbr.org/2015/10/shifting-fro…

When you love learning, what you don't know is an opportunity, not a threat.
One of the most interesting articles I've read was about how the L&D departments can end up in a negative perception spiral-- Org doesn't recognize the value of dept., org culture devalues L&D, when business is slow, L&D is unpopular & expensive & easy to cut.
Anyways, here's a great graphic by @intellekhq on how to demonstrate the value of L&D.

AI isn't here for our jobs ;)
Here are four ways you can leverage AI today.
1. Personalization: Use ChatGPT to help with needs analysis. Really quick example from my own life learning Spanish. ChatGPT IDed errors, explained them and encouraged me to keep practicing

3. AI can be used to grade materials. Personally, I feel there is A LOT of room for improvement, but it was more-or-less accurate, with a bit of pre-training.
Writing samples should always be independently assessed 2x or 3x, so it's a good start.

Feedback! I cleaned up my two sentences and re-submitted them for feedback -- there were more errors in my second sentence which ChatGPT IDed and gave me additional feedback.

Considering cohorts for L&D?🤔
They offer a supportive learning environment, foster collaboration, and encourage peer interaction, but can also lead to varying learning paces and potential group dynamics challenges:
