Enjoy a few Halloween safety tips while our officers try to endure an Extreme Sour Warhead 😂 Helpful Tips Below⬇️ Halloween is this weekend, and we want everyone to have a fun and safe time while trick-or-treating! Here are a few reminders before heading out: 👮‍♀️ Stick Together: Trick-or-treat in groups, stay with your family or trusted adults, and keep an eye on one another. 🚫 Do Not Enter Homes or Vehicles: Avoid entering any unknown homes or vehicles, regardless of how tempting the candy may be! 👻 Be Visible: Wear bright or reflective clothing when possible. If your costume is dark, carry a flashlight or use glow sticks to help drivers see you. 🚶 Use Sidewalks and Crosswalks: Stick to sidewalks whenever possible and use crosswalks when crossing the street. Look both ways and stay alert. 🚙 Drive Cautiously: Drivers, slow down in residential areas and watch carefully for children who may be excited and focused on collecting candy. 🍬 Check Those Treats: Make sure to inspect your (or your child’s) candy before digging in. Throw away anything that appears opened, damaged, or suspicious. Have fun, stay safe, and enjoy all the Halloween fun! Our officers will be out patrolling neighborhoods, handing out candy, and checking on trick-or-treaters throughout the weekend. If you see something suspicious (or spooky) don’t hesitate to give us a call. 🎃 Happy Halloween, Lebanon! 👻 #halloween #warheads #cops

A big thank-you to our officers, support staff, and CERT volunteers who came out to help make the evening a success. A special shout-out to Officer Downs for stepping up to the plate in the pie-eating contest and taking home 2nd place! Great job, Officer Downs! We’re proud to be part of a community that continues to show up for its students, teachers, and schools!

Reported burglaries in Lebanon decreased by 48% in 2025 compared to 2024, continuing a downward trend that began in 2020. Since then, reported burglaries have declined by 75%.   This progress comes as Lebanon’s population has grown by nearly 39% over the last five years, according to census data.    These results reflect the ongoing efforts of our officers to prevent crime through proactive patrols, increased visibility, and a consistent presence in our neighborhoods and business districts.   Even as our community continues to expand, we are seeing the reduction of crime in several areas.   Public safety is a shared commitment between our citizens, our officers, and the entire community.    Through partnership, communication, and continued support, we can work together to prevent crime and keep Lebanon a safe place to live, work, and visit.
