Spending world theatre day with the brilliant @BraveWordsCIC and young people of Meanwood. I used to write stories about Meanwood park in my book at school- amazing to see the young people devise around climate change + communities in this area 🧡

Great trustees make great charities- and we need more great people to get involved. As Kim says it’s rewarding and the ability to contribute at a strategic level helps personal development as well. I’ve had amazing experiences with @bramleybaths @LeedsCS @TheVCSAlliance thanks

It was wonderful to welcome a group of young people from @ChapelFM in Seacroft to Parliament this morning. It was a pleasure to show them round and then have a really good discussion in one of the Committee Rooms. A really inspiring group of talented young people from our area.

Look at our Seacroft kids on the stage @LeedsPlayhouse last night. They created a play with @BraveWordsCIC about a life without art and had the whole audience on their feet in protest. Brilliant things happen when children are given opportunities to express themselves creatively!
