No, he's commenting on how thick you are. (And that isn't a comment about your weight either.) @stellacreasy
Replying to @BenedictSpence
Hi Benedict is that supposed to be a comment on my weight? 🤨

In a documentary about Englishness from 1999, I think I've found the person who's to blame for the mess we're in:

It is funny that as Baroness Fox patiently set out a case for the dangers of poorly-socialised young people in Western society, the BBC had an oversized child sat by her to roll its eyes, sigh and interrupt every few seconds.
My attempt at discussing what has driven violent riots & wanton destruction in France (not without interruption). I was also reacting to unhelpfully labelling Kemi Badenoch's mention of challenges of migration y'day, as a Trump-like dog whistle #PoliticsLive

My chronicles of asylum seeker violence continue. A despicable bunch of sexual predators from 2023.

As one of the last few Labour Brexiteers who fought the referendum, in light of comments made by the backbench MP for Ilford North todayI feel honour bound to re-launch a Labour campaign to protect Brexit and democracy. Will need help. Info to follow.

This belittling attitude to people concerned with a serious public safety issue is why Labour will lose.

I don’t know how @Fox_Claire stayed so calm and rational when faced with gormless grinning, vacuous and argument-lite @stellacreasy who simply won’t face alternative viewpoints on ANYTHING. I don’t find this woman credible or even approaching smart. Who votes for her and why?

You must either want to “make the case for communities like Peckham” or you’re engaging in “divisive rhetoric”. There is no third option according to these people
🚨 NEW: Energy Secretary Miatta Fahnbulleh has attacked Shabana Mahmood’s changes to settlement for migrants "If we prolong the time, we can also prolong the process of building cohesion. We need to challenge divisive rhetoric and make the case for communities like Peckham"

How can it be a "right" whether you are a confident or fluent speaker? It's something you have or you don't have. Even if someone tries to teach you it.

22% + 8% = 30% A simple fact.

Hopeless. A diversity hire in a hurry.
Energy Sec refuses to answer, multiple times, whether she backs the government's immigration proposal. 🗣️ @SophyRidgeSky asks - "Do you support plans for people to live in the UK for 15 years before they get permanent residency?"

We are the party of workers and businesses. I say that as a Labour MP and as the son of businesspeople.

Should Britain be in permanent thrall to the dead? Since 2016 1.6 m more Leave voters have died than Remain. There is now a Rejoin majority. kellnerp.substack.com/p/brit…

NEW: Miatta Fahnbulleh is leaning towards rejecting the giant Rosebank oilfield in what would be a blow for the North Sea energy industry and a major victory for climate campaigners. Story by @kiranstacey theguardian.com/environment/…

The split on the left over fossil fuel extraction is very useful. We need to hope it won't be offset by the anti-Brexit support that will circle round Labour.

"I'm sitting down and have no tie. I'm one of you. Now let's do what I want."
No one can argue that Brexit was an economic success. The new red tape is stifling business, leaving us cut off from our closest and largest trading partner. To be serious about growth means being serious about rebuilding our relationship with Europe.
