Trump has begun a new imperialist war for regime change. This aggression must be resisted by the international working-class movement. We must take to the streets to say: Hands off Venezuela!

The political landscape in Britain is being redrawn, and the changes taking place are much deeper than a superficial reading of the 2024 election results suggest. These changes are rooted in the perfect storm of crisis plaguing every part of the global capitalist system.
We urgently need a new left party of struggle. This pamphlet, produced by Socialist Alternative, explores what that party should look like, looking at lessons from the history of the workers' movement in Britain and internationally. The time for this debate is now.

The growth of conspiracy theorists has gone hand in hand with the rise of Messiah-like right-wing populist politicians – and that is not coincidental. Trump, Bolsanaro, Milei and others are all indicators of the rotten state of global capitalism.

Leicester has a proud record of organising against racists and today was no exception. The far right was vastly outnumbered by the counter protest and were eventually forced to beat a retreat.
We say:
1. Solidarity with Southport – for a united working class stand to resist racist division
2. Build a mass movement to stamp out racism. Unions must mobilise now to oppose the far-right wherever they raise their heads
3. Labour has no answers! Build a new left party of struggle with socialist policies
4. Capitalism is crisis – for a socialist alternative to racism, poverty, war and violence.
