I joined Adobe because I believed I could make a positive impact to creative industry and help artists keep their jobs. It was not an easy task to bring such quick adoption of AI to an industry that is so worried about change.
Adobe is moving fast through collaboration.
This has been the year of "Adobe is dead" predictions. First with Photoshop and Generative AI, and the latest with Canva, moving Affinity from perpetual license to subscription with a free, limited base.
Well, we just reported earnings for the quarter and year, and it should be clear that Adobe and Creative Cloud are ending the year with strong momentum and growth.
For the quarter: Creative Cloud users up, AI feature usage up, free users up, and stock price up over the past month (although down a bit yesterday with the rest of the market).
For Photoshop, Gen Fill is one of the top-used features. 2/3rds of Photoshop users use some generative AI-based features each month, and it continues to set the standard for precision and control.
Despite all of the noise and clickbait posts, Creative Cloud continues to provide the best tools for professional creative workflows (with no worries about hitting limitations).

NEW AI QR Code workflow with QR Controlnets

Here is my tutorial in 4 steps (and youtube link with more prompts in QR code, give it a scan!)
Step 4: Enter Your Prompt
Prompt: a realistically detailed portrait of a beautiful giant colorful betta fish swimming in the water near a coral reef, perfect artistic composition, Professional, masterpiece, commissioned
Negative: ugly, disfigured, low quality, blurry, nsfw
Step 3: Settings
Checkpoint: Analog Madness V3 (but any model should work fine)
Sampling: DPM++ 2M Karras
Scroll down, upload your QR code to ControlNet 0, and enable.
Preprocessor: select "none"
Model: control_v1p_sd15_qrcode for 1.5
Set Control Weight to between 1.5-1.7
Step 2: Get QR Controlnets
These controlnets are not installed on rundiffusion.com, you need to run locally.
Go to this hugging face link and download both the safetensors and the yaml files, and place them in your control net folder
Step 1: Get your QR code
Go to Google and search for a QR code generator.
There are a lot of free options. I use keremerkan.net/qr-code-and-2…
Enter the link that you want the QR code to redirect to.
Shorten URL
Error Correction: High
Click Generate Code, and download your QR.
So voice AI is terrifying and cool. Something that could be a benefit is we often hear of people who have lost loved ones and will listen to their answering machine for their voice as a place of comfort. With AI now we can hear more words from those we love who have passed.
