As Lt Gov-elect, do you think this post helps boost tourism and attracts new businesses to Oklahoma?

🔥Tulsa County just humiliated its own Republican Party! A former Tulsa Republican state senator, Mike Mazzei running for governor, lost his home county by double digits while the rest of Oklahoma carried him. Statewide: Mazzei 52% – Munson 46% Tulsa County: Munson 54% – Mazzei 44%. Tulsa County registered voters by party (published ahead of the November 3, 2026 general election by the Oklahoma State Election Board: 405.000 Registered Voters Republicans 48% Democrats 29% Independents 23% That’s a humiliating collapse by the Tulsa County Republican Party — a county organization so weak it couldn’t even deliver its own hometown candidate.. Time for a reckoning.

Listen to this woman speak, then compare her concession speech to Republican Mike Mazzei’s victory speech. You’re not alone in wondering how she lost. State Rep. @CyndiMunsonOK is an impressive young politician and would’ve been a great governor for Oklahoma. She’ll be back!
Cyndi Munson spoke to supporters after falling to Republican Mike Mazzei in the race for Oklahoma Governor.

The Democratic caucus should open its leadership selection process to more input from the party’s base. Jeffries and Schumer are not the people’s choice to lead.

Property taxes in Oklahoma primarily pay for two things - education and streets. This has always been true. That’s what property taxes fund around these parts. For many years, Oklahoma politicians have proposed to lower your property taxes. No one likes paying taxes, but we also strongly desire a strong education system and well-maintained streets. Those goals can’t be achieved if funding is diminished. This year, the Legislature followed through on their proposals. They placed State Question 847 on the ballot, which would over time lower your property taxes. And the voters of Oklahoma defeated it. When given the opportunity to lower their property taxes, the voters said NO. As it turned out, they’d rather have good schools and streets. Defeating State Question 847 was a great thing, and it also sent a strong signal to those who will represent us at the State Capitol in 2027 and the years ahead. The people of Oklahoma were given the option of lowering their property taxes and they rejected it. The people of Oklahoma have now affirmatively stated in a statewide election that they are willing to pay property taxes for the things they care about. I hope that message was heard loud and clear.

Here you go #Oklahoma. Our Governor Elect speaking in 2018, 10 years AFTER his accident. No reading directly off of a piece of paper, comfortable speaking to the public and no lip smacking.🤨 Compare this to his press conference yesterday. 🤔 youtu.be/zbsMldrczuU?is=kkez…

This epitomizes rural OK voters. There is no rationalizing with them and no exchange of ideas; they are a dim witted and deeply flawed bunch of hateful, fearful and uneducated cretins.

It is very concerning that he won’t answer questions about data centers, the smelter, and his $13 million in campaign loans. Not a great start.
Transparency concerns? @MazzeiMike refused our questions at his first press conference since being elected #Oklahoma's next governor. Earlier today, his team had media crews removed from an OCPAC event that we'd been invited to cover. @okcfox
