the ONLY thing you need to do in deadlock if you've never played a moba before is to kill the the little candle guys that come on the zips every 30 seconds. im not exaggerating, that's it. its the one thing that matters at this stage in the game. everything else is just knowledge absorption, you have no idea what the fuck is going on. it doesn't matter what you're doing as long as you're doing something because it's contributing to you developing some idea what the fuck is going on. if deadlock looks cool to you but there's a certain aspect of it that is detering you, don't engage with that aspect. if you come from shooters and you dislike the boring down time of having to sit and farm npc's, dont. you can play in a early game/tempo style, getting your economy from waves and kills by levraging your shooter experience. over time you'll start to kill jungle or break boxes during your rotations without ever having to sit down and work on jungling more. if you come from mobas and you dislike the mechanics of aim and movement, don't. you can play heroes and itemize in a way where you don't have to and can leverage you economy and positional advantage. over time your mechanics will improve and you'll aim and move better without ever having to sit down and aim train or practice movement in sandbox.
