Patrick Mahomes after the Divisional Round game against the Bills: “They asked for it. And they got what they asked for.” 🥶 (📹 @NFL)

Here’s the thing. The only way the Chiefs make an impact is if they trade for Garrett Wilson or another true WR1. His ability would force the coaching staff to get him on the field immediately. Any player below ‘true WR1 status’ won’t be trusted enough to play a significant role.

Chiefs are looking for a WR. But given how good the Browns and Jags are, I don’t think they’ll send a receiver to KC unless Veach is willing to overpay.

I’m getting fully behind the Garret Wilson steam train. (That will probably never leave the station, unfortunately)

Yes, JSN did what JSN does. He’s an absolute stud. But Mansoor Delane and Nohl Williams were two bright spots in an otherwise disappointing defensive display. Loved this play from Mansoor. Perfect timing 👌 (📹 @NFL)

I’m not sure how much more evidence we need at this point. The Chiefs were awful in all 3 phases yesterday. But they had a chance to be trailing 13-9 in the fourth quarter, giving them a real chance. Those missed field goals were incredibly costly.

Harrison Butker's 15 missed kicks (10 FGs, 5 PATs) since start of last season are the most in NFL.

There’s gonna be tons of talk about how the Chiefs should trade for a WR. And that could be correct. However, if they do trade for a WR, it needs to be a WR1. Not someone who COULD help. Go get someone who WILL help.

It’s very important to remember that the Chiefs are missing both of their starting tackles and 2 of their 3 starting wide receivers. But even that is no excuse for being this bad.

Cut Butker at this point. It’s just getting ridiculous.

There’s just no time to wait for routes to develop. Pat’s got to rush everything.

This team needs to come out with an attitude in the second half. A real attitude. A real desire. Because that first half was no where near good enough in any way, shape or form.

Butker sticks that 2 years ago. Feels like we're nearing the end of the line here. The biggest argument for Butker has been "when it matters most he hits them." And they desperately needed that one.

Rob Collins@RobCollinsTVOct 26

Butker's 58 yard attempt is NO good. Seattle leads 10-0 at halftime... feels like it could be a lot worse. #ChiefsKingdom

Other than the pick, it’s very hard to find any positive whatsoever from that half of football.

Per @SumerSports, Chiefs cornerback L'Jarius Sneed has been targeted five times in first 29 minutes. He's allowed five catches for 83 yards and 16.6 yards per target.
