There is no point earning between 100-150k
60% tax between 100-125 (loss of tax free allowance) 45% 125-150
Thats 26k, or 53% tax
@Jeremy_Hunt is saying if you’re ambitious either move countries or don’t bother bettering yourself.cos he’ll tax your pension and investments anyway
Theme of the budget. Rather than tax the energy companies (who donate heavily) we will give some people money to pay the energy companies.& tax others pay for their increased costs.
There is no point bettering yourself, getting promoted. It’s all just tax now.
Watching Tottenham on the @btsport app via TV. Every other game streams well apart from the one I want to watch. Internet fine. Other apps find. You have one job. Refund please.
70% of our parties funding comes from property developers you declined to hold to account. For similar moral abominations. I’m not sure where this sudden plastic backbone comes from. 1.6m leaseholders we’re trapped by your immoral conflicted actions. #EndOurCladdingScandal
Excellent article by @guardian @GeorgeMonbiot
My mother unexpectedly passed in distressing circumstances.
Rather than help @VodafoneUK tried to auto-enrol a deceased account into a 12m broadband contract we couldnt opt out of without probate forms

Excellent news, the industry setting benchmarks which hopefully protect innocent leaseholders @MulalleyandCo
Hyde Group win landmark case against contractor Mulalley & Co to pay damages towards the cost of removing cladding it had fitted to 4 residential blocks in Gosport - It helps when the one taking them to court has enough financial clout not to be intimidated @FT @GeorgeNHammond
I’m anti sleaze, anti corruption, anti conflict of interest. Anti 150k treehouses during cost of living crisis. As a leaseholder I’m anti Chris Pincher irrespective of his personal failings.
It feels like (some of the) gov get the message from the public.
Let’s enact change

Thank you @SMcPartland. It feels one step forward two back. The decent and moral outcome looked to be on the cards. The latest reports are worrying.

A travesty of backtracking from the government. Creating the potential for loopholes for freeholders to decrease their assets and pass all costs to leaseholders.
5 years in, and leaseholders are still battling for protection. The scandal of a generation. #EndOurCladdingScandal
(EARL OF LYTTON WARNING) The Earl of Lytton writes about the government living with the consequences of not making the builders pay in full!

It’s a failing of the system. Donations, conflicts of interest, admitting when wrong - hurts the innocent leaseholder. We represent a generation whom won’t forgive or forget those that did this.
#leasehold Why is it that no political party will make the drastic changes needed to protect leaseholders? Its because many of the have freehold property portfolios
We spend the day listening to residents. hearing about cladding victims who need the councils help but get nothing - is heartbreaking and personal. With no opposition I plan to be that accountable voice for Islington. Because @IslingtonTories want to #EndOurCladdingScandal

Once again the @IslingtonBC caught lying about the LTNs. When will they learn they don’t stop pollution or work for the people. #islingtondeservesbetter @AntiLTN @nhscarersltns @ioisours @Bunhill_LDN

Only @IslingtonTories will scrap the #LTNs!
@KayaJunction @RowChampion, will you apologise to #Islington?

This is exactly what residents have complained to us about this week. Nobody disagrees in lowering pollution and traffic but the #LTNs don’t work #islington
A London council has been forced to apologise after claiming the introduction of low traffic neighbourhoods caused a reduction in pollution, when in fact they caused it to worsen bit.ly/3tO8Uol
