Just did my first private swap on @avnu_fi and it felt exactly like a normal swap lol
Spent the weekend testing this on @Starknet with @ready_co
> shielded 40 STRK in Ready
> opened avnu, hit Privacy at the bottom
> swapped, bought token landed back in my private balance
shield had a small gas fee ($0.11) plus the 2.5 STRK pool fee.
the private swap itself showed network fees Free, just another 2.5 $STRK pool fee
alpha is simple: public swaps get copied and tracked.
this one doesn't show what you bought or how much you still hold
kinda wild that my whole wallet history was public until now tbh
anyone else tried it?
I've been going through the @primus_labs docs + their Data Verification page.
Went in thinking zkTLS = the data is true.
That's not what it does.
zkTLS builds on TLS (the same protocol securing the websites you already use) and adds zero-knowledge proofs on top.
What you get:
> proof the data really came from that website
> without revealing the data itself
> as a verifiable attestation smart contracts can use
What you don't get:
> proof the website was right
If the source is wrong, the proof just shows you exactly where the wrong number came from.
Honestly that's still a big upgrade.
Right now most "data" on CT is a screenshot and a promise.
Authenticated data is a clearer starting point. You still have to judge the source, the context and what the proof actually covers.
Once that clicked, the tech made a lot more sense to me.
Did you think zkTLS proved the data was true?

Just saw notification from @KaitoStudio_
I earned $1200 from the MEXC campaign on Kaito.
This is the 2nd win this month from Kaito campaigns.
Thanks team
I pay attention to what teams worked on before there was a product to promote.
This history gives @crest_btc more context for me.
The privacy work started with Proof of Innocence, well before the wallet.
The interesting part now is turning that research into something a Bitcoin holder can use without needing to understand the cryptography.
Some privacy lore behind this photo
My professional journey in crypto started right around the Tornado Cash sanctions when I began working with the Chainway Labs team, and on-chain privacy immediately became our first obsession.
The existential threat to on-chain privacy bothered the team so much that they locked in on whiteboard sessions to build a solution where privacy could co-exist with compliance. That’s how Proof of Innocence was built.
I feel so lucky to have witnessed the team’s commitment and @ekrembal’s brilliance with cryptography and zero-knowledge circuits.
The idea that users could mathematically prove their funds are not linked to illicit addresses without revealing their identity was breakthrough tech and the team open-sourced the entire framework for the space.
It went viral overnight and got covered by @TheBlockCo and @Bankless, and caught the attention of researchers across the space - leading to Vitalik reaching out to talk tech.
While the team didn’t turn that public good into a product at the time, they continued to be involved in the privacy landscape while building the foundations on Bitcoin.
It feels right to bring everything the team learned from frontier ZK research and privacy to Bitcoin via @crest_btc!
Super excited for the upcoming launch!

Creator wire is not a marketing agency
It’s the infrastructure that other agencies are using to build and execute on great campaigns
we already have multiple agencies that have joined as curators of marketing campaigns

One of the best early morning notifications.
If you’re a creator and not part of @creator_wire you’re missing out.
One of the best web3 marketing agencies.
There is no point posting about a project if people leave without learning anything useful.
So for my first post about @Starknet let’s start with what you can actually do with it.
It’s a network built on Ethereum that processes transactions in batches and uses mathematical proofs to check the work.
That helps spread the cost across many transactions.
You can use apps on it to swap tokens, borrow against supported assets, or play games.
AVNU handles swaps. Vesu offers lending markets.
For me, understanding those basic uses comes before getting into the bigger roadmap.

If an app needs to know whether I meet a balance requirement, why should it receive my exact balance?
That small question gets to something I like about @primus_labs
Its zkTLS tools support comparisons on verified source data.
A supported integration can return whether a value meets a threshold, without including the underlying number in that result.
Think of an application checking whether an account balance exceeds a required amount.
The useful answer might simply be “yes.”
There’s a design choice here, though. Primus’s docs say some SDK flows return plaintext results by default.
Developers need to configure the private condition.
For me, good verification starts with deciding how little information an application actually needs.
We spend plenty of time asking users to prove more. I’d like to see more apps asking them to reveal less.
