If the dams are covered in Hyacinth, DO NOT ENTER THE WATER!
We as a people are not meant to disturb the waters when they are "..resting.."
Alas, we pray for safe recovery.

😔 PLEASE HELP US FIND JAN OBAKENG MOKONYANE
39-year-old Jan Obakeng Mokonyane, from Lefiswane, Mpumalanga, went missing after a boat capsized on 25 October 2026.
There were eight people on the boat. Seven were rescued, but sadly, Jan remains missing.
It has now been 10 days since the incident. The police and maritime rescue teams are continuing their search efforts.
However, the situation is extremely challenging because the dam is heavily covered by water hyacinth, making the search for Jan even more difficult.
I have received permission from the family to share this information publicly.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
If there are organisations, businesses, environmental groups or individuals who can assist with the search, equipment or any other resources, please come forward.
Let us work together to help bring Jan home to his family.
To Jan’s family, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this painful time. ❤️
🙏 Please SHARE this post. Every share could make a difference.
Let’s help find Jan.🥺🥺🥺🥺

And Joburg said DAS MY GIRL
Uphele esenza njani ughel?
Kwasuka lokho, and she is likely not the only individual experiencing this issue. These are local elections meant to address the needs of residents within their own municipalities. Requiring her to vote in a different city for a mayor who will not represent her interests raises serious concerns about the effectiveness and fairness of the electoral process the IEC administers! @IECSouthAfrica, shame on you!
