Making changes to websites is often more than a few lines of code - and even if it is, those lines need to be tested, changes to databases, etc. I'm available for web work - if you are looking for help with your own website, send me a message! #earlybiz

Seen a few book club mentions this morning, so thought I'd share my own! I've been organising these for 5 years, there's no specific book & great opportunity to network and discuss the books you reading. Also FB group & writing support! booksandnetworking.co.uk #smartsocial

These past few days I've been checking over web hosting for a few clients. Making sure PHP is up-to-date following this week's PHP security issues. If you'd like me to check your own website and hosting to make sure everything is up-to-date, send me a message. 😊 #smartsocial

Viv would be fairly easy to resurrect - no body, and she didn't even have a funeral in the village! Just say she was in witness protection.

Guess it depends on when the baby was born, e.g. some interviews hint it was prior to Kim going on the run, others afterwards!

I'd say the main difference is that while editors like Notepad++ are great, they throw everything at you. NotNotepad starts with a very basic layout more Notepad like, then users decide what extras they want. 😀 What I've done is there if people want/need to use it!

This was more a project I created out of interest/just for fun (that I decided to release). I'm aware there's countless other text editor alternatives. 😀

Looking to make your website less scary? I offer website audits for £35! Ideal if you haven't done much with your website for a while, looking for ideas on the way forward, or you created the website yourself and looking for feedback. Send me a message and we can arrange this.

Earlier this month I released NotNotepad, a side project I've been working on. A simple plain text editor, and alternative to Windows Notepad. Ideal for editing settings, quick code edits, notes, etc. Available for free at: libraryplayer.co.uk/2026/10/…

NotNotepad (a side project I've worked on recently) is a plain text editor that doesn't overwhelm. You are initially presented with Notepad style layout, then you decide what extras you need, rather than throwing everything at you. Available for free at: libraryplayer.co.uk/2026/10/…

Also pre internet and social media... Kim Tate's involvement in a horse robbery would've been a big local news story at time, so also a question of why nurses didn't recognise Kim and alert authorities!

I wonder if she had help from someone, e.g. Zoe who was more supportive of Kim at time (and wouldn't be only time Zoe was involved in a attempted dodgy adoption!). E.g. Zoe paid a social worker, or told hospital the baby was staying with Zoe when she was actually being adopted.

Any of the Glovers would be fairly easy to bring back, with very little backstory (a family that use to live in village with a grudge against Tates, and thats all newer fans need to know!) They should also bring back Viv, since she had a terrible exit (and we never saw a body!)

All would also be amazing returns to Emmerdale! Or even the remaining Glovers would have a grudge against the Tates. Doubt Jan Glover would possibly go after Kim, but possibly Roy (or perhaps introduce a new Glover with Roy now having a grown-up child!)

I'm hoping its Steve Merchant too! About time he returned (or they at least acknowledged he existed)!

I hope so too!!

Thanks. All the extras are hidden on first run (it resembles Notepad, than people decide what extras they need). Plus some stuff other editors have (e.g. compiler integration) that I feel go more into IDE territory, so haven't included them.
