Lots of misinfo regarding the situation between 🇳🇪🇱🇾🇩🇿. The video below is from GNU's Regional Security Directorates' Support unit, during their recent drills south of Zliten. It's a police unit, not a defence force. Nothing to do with the borders 📽️: facebook.com/share/v/1J9tzq…

Good call. Here's the same unit, same route, two years ago:
1/2 #Libya 19.08.24 - LNA carried out enhanced aerial and ground reconnaissance patrols in the border area between Algeria and Niger, known as the El Salvador Triangle. #migrantcrisis #DontTakeToTheSea #seenotrettung #Frontex

On the contrary, the 87th brigade (especially the 77th battalion) have distinguished themselves among other LAAF units for this exact task, rapid patroling of the frontier since 2024 (taking up the gap left by the disbanded 128th). This has nothing to do with the Madma rumors.

The wreck also makes a useful reference for identifying Pantsir-S1 systems in satellite imagery. It has remained stationary since its capture in June 2020, with multiple high-resolution images available from different nadir angles.

📍32°49'38.91"N 13°27'30.80"E GNU's 51st Infantry Brigade is also heading to the range, offering a glimpse of the Pantsir-S1 nicknamed “Stroller”, destroyed in Tarhuna in mid-2020. Misrata's factions took the operational equipment; Tajura was left with the burnt-out war trophy.

More footage, date unverified but fits other August 2025 footage: A column of the brigade's armour inside the camp heading for a line up with 5 tanks and an SPG

The timing of this article isn't coincidental. The LAAF signed (or announced) an agreement with 🇹🇷 Akteknik/ATSG 3 months ago, while @AfriMEOSINT has extensively documented construction activity around that time. Someone might be repackaging an existing story to ride the trend.
📰👀 #news via @agenzia_nova ➡️ shorturl.at/flSXr

The clip is impressive, and this is one of the very few purpose built charges and fuses for FPVs, a it seems they are interchangeable with commercially available drones The detentions are either extreme or someone [extensively]prepped the buildings with a sledge hammer before

One of the more interesting booths at #SOFEX2026 was Jadara, featured extensively in the LAAF’s official coverage of its visit. Jadara’s equipment has been appearing consistently in official LAAF imagery [as well as SM leaks] since at least 2015.

Old, already covered 👇
#Libya- nothing to see here, just a standard Unit 444 exercise...with FGM-148 Javelin ATGM ! This is almost certainly one of those retrieved from the LNA in their retreat from Garyan in 2019, previously taken from French SOF withdrawing (bonus points for AMR. Perhaps a KSR?)

If that's the actual skill level, then you might as well just use an AT4 instead. Hitting the wheel disk would hardly even immobilise the vehicle let alone destroy it.

Other than the obnoxious cult of personality & pointless AI slop, the museum does offer some interesting insights into Libyan military history like this rare tactical map of late January 1978 of the LAAF offensive on Objective: Ounianga Kebir lakes by the 69th infantry brigade.

Yes, the message was too refined and diplomatic for a sub-literate octogenarian to write. He made the vague comments in person, but the clear correction was made official through @truthsocial by his PR team, which is as good as it could possibly get giving the circumstances.

@US_SrAdvisorAF absolutely did or at least instructed the team to do so.

Borderline insanity. This might as well be the first time ever an official state statement mentions the #EpsteinFiles , not even Iran or North Korea did this. And somehow it worked [maybe?], #POTUS 's PR team just pulled a complete turnaround:
Statement No. (14) of 2026 Issued by the Libyan Government Regarding the Offensive Statement Made by @realDonaldTrump (One of the Visitors to the Dirty #Epstein Island) Against the State of #Libya and Its People.

As noted in our 20 July post & tactical map, Algeria's shift of focus towards northern Niger has been underway since early 2024. We may now see more direct friction between 🇩🇿's APNA & 🇱🇾's LAAF, amid a complex web of proxies, armed groups and competing regional interests.
BREAKING NEWS 🚨 | The Algerian Parliament unanimously approves the decision to send an Algerian military unit to Niger.

Though unconventional, the drill is based on a concept that other militaries practise. LAAF's execution certainly gives off a poor man's makeshift adaptation of it, but the underlying concept is sound Even so, the track record over the past 4 years gives it a little room to brag
