Today ends the month of the six year anniversary of when FSD Beta was first exposed to the general public by a small group of customers (not Tesla employees).
With the guidance of the Tesla autopilot team and in close collaboration, we saw the first true glimpses of what Tesla was doing.
Before the current versions, Tesla changed the development approach multiple times and now, just recently (compared to how long many thought it would take if not impossible) the @robotaxi network was activated.
Don’t confuse other autonomous ride sharing services with RoboTaxi, although others have adopted the name. The Model Y’s and Cybercabs are the real RoboTaxi network.
