Thank you @HyytialaHY for having us! In two days of seminars (and excellent sauna) we formed a full picture of where we are with the many elements of Lifeplan. Now to @uniofjyvaskyla for targeted subgroup work on the next push forward. Ecologists and statisticians unite 🤝

At last we get to have our first in-person internal meeting, where our data analysts get to see how the data is made. At @HyytialaHY , research coordinator Pauliina Schiestl-Aalto demonstrates sampling (and the trail camera takes group pictures of us)

Over the New Year, our global teams switched between natural and urban locations. Alternating sampling locations yearly will enable us to look at the effects of urbanization on biodiversity. Team Tirol sent some pics of setting up at their natural location, Alpine style 🏔️

Our field team finalizing sites for the high intensity sampling they will conduct in Sweden. Same sampling at global & local scales will give insight into what the relevant scale really is for different organisms and phenomena. Now if only the snow would melt...
