⚙️ A few interesting comp-related plugins from the @OpenplanetDev community have caught my eye recently: 👉 Trackmania Trainer: A tool developed by @achepta_tm allowing you to save a flying respawn at any point of a track and then replay it, even after game restart. You can also share these custom respawns with others. Could this be the future of part mapping? 👉 Community Matchmaking: Developed by @GreepTheSheep, @TrackmaniaCMM is an existing project which has been revived following the attention received by competitive TM recently. Although, Better Matchmaking (BMM) is likely to remain the platform of choice for dedicated match prac ahead of big esports events, like we’re currently seeing with #XPEvo26. 👉 Replay Splits: created by Mattlightning, this plugin displays the CP splits of the replay you’re viewing which was previously only possible in mediatracker. CP splits are often used by comp players an indicator of a run’s pace and potential finishing time. Despite years of @TMesports existing, practice methods still seem relatively rudimentary. I believe those who learn to optimise these processes first will have an edge on their fellow competitors in the near future. The developing role played by coaches is also an interesting topic. 🤔
