The thing with Sonic Heroes is control sensitivity. What killed you here wasn't the Rocket Accel, but somehow Sonic reading a left input. Much like SA1 and 2, Heroes reads raw inputs. So even if you think you didn't touch the stick, Sonic will actually move at a hairpin nudge.

Lanterns might genuinely be a bottom 5 adaptation. A poorly written shallow show with a pathetic 8 episode structure disguised as a prestige TV series in the same vain as game of thrones and true detective. A show that is so shit at adapting the source material it cant even SD it

Has anyone else noticed how so many long running pop culture franchises are in a sort of limbo state right now? As in they fucked up in the 2010s and early 2020s and just aren't really up to much now besides spinoff and side content with no flagship productions?

Like for example, halo and sonic both fucked up the whole 2010s and made a safe soft reset open world game in the early 2020s that was seen as an improvement and a stepping stone and at least sonic is doing well with spinoffs but neither have released the next mainline game yet
