Moravian Prep and YNG Dreamerz Name Drew Greene as New Head Men’s Basketball Coach Moravian Prep and the YNG Dreamerz are thrilled to announce the appointment of Drew Greene as the program’s next Head Men’s Basketball Coach. Greene brings a proven track record of elite player development and collegiate success to the powerhouse prep program. Greene joins Moravian Prep after a highly successful tenure as an assistant coach at Concord University. Over two seasons, he helped guide the Mountain Lions to 32 victories while mentoring top-tier talent, including an NABC All-American, the MEC Player of the Year, and two MEC Defensive Players of the Year. A native of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Greene is known for his sharp basketball mind and relentless work ethic. He graduated from the University of Virginia’s College at Wise in just two years before going on to earn two master’s degrees while building his coaching resume that includes stops at both the NCAA Division I and Division II levels. Notably, during his time at IU Indianapolis, Greene earned distinction as one of the youngest assistant coaches in Division I basketball. “I want to thank Coach Ellis and the entire Ellis family for the foundation they have built at Moravian Prep,” said Greene. “The culture and standard they’ve established have made this a special place, and I’m honored to build on that legacy. Our program will continue to be built on a “Never Give Up” mentality, relentless player development, and making The Dungeon one of the best places to develop in prep basketball. My wife, Isabelle, and I are excited to begin this next chapter in Hickory, North Carolina, and become a part of the Moravian Prep and YNG Dreamerz family.” About Moravian Prep & YNG Dreamerz: Based in Hickory, North Carolina, Moravian Prep and the YNG Dreamerz constitute one of the nation's premier basketball development programs.
