I've entered my ecclesiastical era (?) Maybe it's because the POPE is here. There's an archangel who's everyone's favorite, every Catholic loves him, but ever since I was a little girl, I've always loved, DEEPLY LOVED the way he's depicted. I've been fascinated by those representations since childhood, especially the version where he steps on a serpent. Anyway, I want to draw him.

I wanted to draw something upside down but wasn't sure what, then I remembered a manga artist I love and this is what came out ✨ I still want to give him chest tattoos and give her a dress with tons of detail. Yesterday, I was watching an anime where the main character is supposed to be aesthetically ugly because he looks like an ogre. The problem is that the ogres in that anime are way too humanized. Aside from being green, they're not ugly at all; in fact, they're all conventionally attractive. So, if the protagonist is supposed to be ugly like the ogres, he's never actually going to look ugly. Having almost every episode constantly remind us that the protagonist is ugly gets boring. I mean, let's be consistent. If a character is supposed to be as ugly as an ogre, I think of Shrek or the orcs from The Lord of the Rings, not an ogre with Timothée Chalamet's face 😂

I have guinea pigs and I like keeping them looking fancy. I have 3. Yesterday, I trimmed their nails and brushed them, but today one of them is really dirty, and the only solution is to give him a bath 😭

When I was little, I attended a Catholic school, and we were required to go to Mass every week. The school even had its own private chapel inside the school grounds (among other things, it also had its own private cemetery within the school grounds, although it was separate and you needed permission to enter).

This week, I was asked for two quotes: one for illustrating a manga and another for a publishing house. I replied to both, but I'm worried about discussing pricing, because inevitably I have to mention commercial use and its cost. I don't think an extra $30 for commercial use is that much, but I do understand that it makes the product itself more expensive. I think all of this makes me feel a little insecure. I don't know, sometimes I wonder if I shouldn't charge for it, even though I know my fee isn't excessive.
