Oh okay NBC determines elections now got it
Democrats are heavily favored in public polling in the House and in several key Senate races. If those numbers prove accurate, it’s possible that NBC News could project control of both chambers on election night. But it’s more likely that determining the winners will take time. nbcnews.com/politics/2026-el…

A timeline of Andy Reid’s handling of player issues in Kansas City this season:
Oct. 4: Benches Kingsley Suamataia. “That’s between Kingsley and I.” No explanation.
Oct. 22: Josh Simmons is reportedly told to leave a team meeting after a disagreement with Reid. Patrick Mahomes also intervenes.
Oct. 26: Reid downplays the Simmons incident, saying his back injury (not the meeting) is why he was placed on IR.
Oct. 28: Chiefs sign Justin Tucker amid Harrison Butker’s struggles. Asked about the message to female fans, Reid says Tucker has “done his suspension.”
Nov. 1: Suamataia is benched for a second time. Reid’s response? “It’s just between Kingsley and I.” (not a punishment)
Two benchings. A reported confrontation. A controversial signing.
There’s a difference between keeping things in-house and refusing to answer for them.

Here’s the hypocrisy.
If Kingsley violated team rules, handle it internally. Fine him, address it privately, or leave him inactive. Instead, Reid dressed him, played him on special teams, and publicly benched him on offense for the second time in a month against a divisional opponent.
Meanwhile, his replacement struggled in protection and Mahomes paid the price. At what point does enforcing accountability become prioritizing the punishment over winning football games? And who’s holding Reid accountable for that decision?

It’s not the benching Kingsley part I don’t get. It’s the accountability piece twice in one season when you’ve done nothing but protect the LT who’s come and gone as he pleases for 2 years

Staffers: “You’ve got this in the bag Abdul just go on 60 Minutes and keep it chill.”
Abdul:
Yeah you’re on your own, old head. The organization doesn’t get to claim morality police by benching a grown adult the same week they sign someone like Justin Tucker
