This is hands down the worst aspect of games like Symphony of the Night. They go way too far, ruining an otherwise incredible game. I'd much rather they stay engaging for their entire run. Stay gone!

『moon』が29周年になりました！
ぼくたちは、おじさんになって年をとるのに
moonを起動すると、住人たちは
今もあの世界で
あのままの姿で生きている
とても不思議な現象です
ゲームを起動して
城下町にたちよれば
まるで故郷に帰ったような気分になります
そして電源を消せば、その世界は止まる
これも一つの
有機交流電燈的な現象なのかな？
moonを作ってよかった。
ぼくの人生の分岐点になった作品だった。
それを、今も誰かが遊んでくれている
それが本当に嬉しいです。
みなさん、ありがとうございます。
（なんと 来年は30周年！すごいなー！）
